This is the type of game you play to remind yourself why it's better to have an open world map made by people. Come for the factory, get distracted by all the random things there are to find, fight spiders.

The ship designer is pretty good, but good lord the Devs are a piece of work. Naval battles are supremely frustrating with AI problems and a very flawed system for determining accuracy.

Oh and 15 dollars for basic MP functionality, poor optimization throughout causing even higher end PCs to chug like hell, and they wipe your saves and custom designs with patches that just include balance updates and bug fixes.

This game is only good in the light of how little competition it has, and its many many flaws would doom it in a more competitive genre.

I need to stop buying games the week they come out, this is yet another buggy early-access title masquerading as a finished title.

Warhammer 3 is a game that was delayed and delayed, then finally pushed out. Like Cyberpunk this is YET another example of why rushing a game out is a bad idea. Bugs and performance issues abound, the UI is worse than 2, and the new campaign is poorly designed. Total War games represent my most played game and yet this game is so lacking in quality I can't bring myself to play it.

You should wait at least six months for this early access game to be finished.

Cosmetics aside, a good game, just the DLC fest makes it hard to recommend.

Evil Genius 2 is a remake disguised as a sequel, retaining many of the flaws of the original while containing more tedium than the first. I played a lot of the first one and rather enjoyed it, but I knew it had a lot of problems, bugs, and glitches. While the first was an amazing example of a game that tried something new and didn't quite manage to reach it, this one is a great example of a remake that retreads the original, streamlining it rather than offering anything substantial to improve the formula. Traps are less interesting, your minions are so much weaker, the world map has become utter tedium to manage.

Evil has never felt so tedious.

Dead game, I've seen Betas more developed than this and the developers had a terrible update schedule to begin with.
