I didn't think I'd like this game at first. I don't generally like to play things that would frustrate me or be super hard. This game has been a lot of fun to play though. You can replay it a bunch and there's just so much new stuff to see. Rare monsters, heroes to unlock, items/equipment, artifacts, etc. The soundtrack is pretty great too. I'll sit down and play a run or two at the end of the day and be happy with my experience regardless of how it pans out.

This game was a lot of fun. It goes from absurd and silly to having some actual emotionally heavy story. This isn't heavy on gameplay which makes it a great way to wind down and chill out. The characters were all fun. Hidden "endings" that give you a post story update on the characters. New Game + mode makes it easier to replay. Soundtrack was well done. And there's a shiba...that's wearing a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses. So you know, there's that.

I picked up this game in a Humble Bundle. Figured, hey what the hell, I'll give it a shot. Put on some tunes and 2 hours vanished. Great game to relax with.

This mod is a blast with friends. Create your own fun. Has the right amount of broken to be glitchy but not game breaking. We've spent many hours at our LAN parties just goofing off in this. It's usually our game to finish the day on.

This game took me by surprise. Fun to pick up and play, yet has a decent skill ceiling. I like their model of keeping DLC cosmetic and adding the maps for free. The mutators have been a fun addition as well. Definitely worth the full price for the game.

This game is full of weird physics, glitches, and is kind of buggy...but it's fun with a group of friends. It's become a regular game at our LAN parties and usually results in something hilarious happening. Only thing I would like is a larger Co-op mode.

For the price, this is definitely recommended.

Early Access Review
Changing my review to not recommend any longer. Updates have become sparse to non-existant. I expect this has become another early access game that will likely either never come out or come out unfinished.

I first dove into this series just last year with 2013. Being a fan of the sport and neither FIFA or PES really meeting my desire to get that in depth into learning tactics and restoring my favorite club to glory.

What I find great about this game is that you can get a pretty good grasp off of the bat and start off with a club. The classic mode also offers a simplified and streamlined type of play. It's pretty easy to sink hours into this. If you get lost or don't understand something, because of the popularly you can easily find some explanations online (or at least a place to ask).

They also did some overhauling of the match engine this year and it seems to be a big improvement from last year. When getting tactical advice mid match, you'd have to pause and go change it. Now you just get an easy button that allows you to apply the advice without stopping the flow of the game.

If you're a fan of the sport or sport sims, this is a great one to sink time into.

Like a lot of people, I found myself constantly going back to Diablo 2 and replaying it. Hours of clicking away at monsters, building characters, etc.

This managed to re-capture a lot of that fun for me. The game does have a cartoonish art style which may turn off some but definitely doesn't detract from the game. I found the story to be fun and was happy when I completed it. It took me around 30ish hours or so to complete, but I do explore as much as possible and kill as many monsters as possible.

The character classes all have 3 different skill trees to build out. I played through with the engineer (support, utility) myself. There is also the berszerker (warrior), outlander (ranger), embermage (caster). If you check out some of the stuff on steam works, you can also get additional classes through mods.

End game you get the option to start over via New Game + (ala Chrono Trigger) where the game scales to a level range based on your level. They also have the mapworks option where you purchase maps from a vendor (with gold in game) which can be fun and have various buffs/debuffs to them.

On top of that, this game still supports both internet and LAN play which is great. Definitely a solid buy for the price.

CS:GO Review
This game managed to recapture my love for Counter-Strike. It feels fresh and new enough but still keeps that old familiar feeling to it. It adds a more central place to find servers to play on. The new game modes they've added are fairly decent as well.

Arms Race: This would be better known by Gun Game. Currently there are only 3 maps out in the Valve side which can get a little boring. Same style, each gun progresses you to the next, working your way up to knife level. The progression isn't the same as it was in the mod from CS:S. Ideally, it would be tweaked to be more similar. There is also no nade level.

Demolition: Kind of a neat idea but game play seems to progress weirdly. There are a fair amount of maps. Works similar to gun game in that each kill progresses you to another gun but only on the next round. Multiple kills a round will award you bonus grenades following. There is a bomb planting objective for the T side with one site available. Maps are typically smaller than normal maps.

Casual: Up to 10 players a team, classic CS style with either hostage or demolition objective. All talk is always on, which I'd rather that be only when you're dead. Money rewards work different a bit as well.

Match Making: 5v5, very competitive. You'll find a close experience to league play here with the way the game is set up. The round and bomb timer is a bit long for those familiar with league and tournament play. Unfortunately, this mode has attracted people running hacks such as aimbots, wallhacks, and no spray. It's not all bad though. I haven't spent a ton of time in this mode myself but I have had some really good experience with teamwork and people using call outs.

Overall the game does need some tweaking. You'll find some common complaints about movement, wall banging, aim punch, and 128 tick servers. If you're looking for a better match making experience with leagues, ladders, etc there are services like altpug, ESEA, faceit, and plenty others.
