Early Access Review
Really fun game and a lot of promise for the future with frequent updates and attentive devs

My biggest issue that I want to see adjusted is the micro play.
Macro play is essentially commander stuff, managing units and resources, which feels really good and fleshed out.

Micro play of being a ground unit is fun as alien, but feels pretty rough until mid-late game as a human. You just run for ages as you wait for command to have the resources to make light units and heavy units to explore map. First 10 minutes is just a running simulator due to lack of mobility as you explore map and really throws the pacing off for me. Fall damage is rough on humans too and is a bit too punishing.

Ai controlled projectile units are infinitely better than player controlled ones due to their accuracy and range. They will snipe you down from insane distances, making approaches difficult to say the least.

I think either Ai distance needs to be dialed back (or at least their accuracy needs to be nerfed) or human controlled units need an auto aim of some sort to have the same level of efficiency.

Really enjoy the game though and mid-late game skirmishes are a lot of fun
