having never really played any previous fromsoft titles it was a bit hard getting into this game, i died a lot.
after giving it some hours and leveling up a bit i fell in love with this game.

the map is huge and there is a lot to explore, a lot of dungeons and bosses.
with a wide variety of weapons it opens itself up for a lot of different character builds, so its likely you'll find something that fits your play style.

i think the bosses are designed very well, challenging but fair.
the fact that this is a open world game it gives you the option to move away from a boss if you're stuck on it, going some place else, level up a bit upgrade your weapons and come back to the boss to whoop its ass.

playing this game coop is also really fun, although i'm not a big fan of the in-game coop system.
luckily there is a mod that makes coop seamless allowing you to play the game start to finish with a friend.

as for re-playability you can continue in new game +, playing through the game again while keeping the character you build throughout your first playthrough, making it even more powerfull.

or you can start a completely new save and play from the start and try out different builds.

but no playthrough will be as good as your first one where everything is new and the exploration is exciting.

would definitely recommend this game if you are looking for a game that's is scary but not because of jump scares but just because you're genuinely scared.
this game had me physically shaking most of the time.

i think this is most fun to play with some friends.
would also recommend that you use the ingame voice chat.
since they are attracted to sound, so having to be completely silent to hide makes it much more immersive.

you can also play this in VR mode, have not done this myself but can't imagine how terrifying that must be.

this is one of my favorite survival games,
the crafting system is nice and there's quite alot to make in this game.
diving to loot sunken shipwrecks knowing a shark could attack you any seconds is exiting and a "little" scary.

you can choose to go for an escape as soon as possible or just try to survive on these beautiful islands.
after you've escaped? you can also look into custom islands.
you can go though alot of island made by the community or just make your own island to your liking and build a nice little (or big) base or even village if you want.

also it has multiplayer which imo always makes survival games more fun.

definitly would recommend this game.

my favorite mmorpg

i love this game!
i love the combat style, a good mix of HacknSlash and ability's
i love the story, the graphics are good enough(not new gen but more than good enough)
i like the pawn system, makes you feel like you play in a party,
the AI of the pawns is also pretty decent.

only thing i dont like about this game is that its too small.
i would really like a longer story line, more side quests and side quest lines.
the map is also not really big.
would've liked it to be 4 times as big and more world boss spawns.

the bitterblack isle is a very good addition, it adds alot of playtime.
it was a little bit confusing since it gives you a waymarker to it almost at the start of the game.
went there at level 14 and i got destroyed in the first room.
recommended to go there after the first playthrough.

overall i really liked this game.
i just wish there was more of it.
did a 100% completion farmed all the best gear in bitterblack, ran it on all defferent vocations, but still dont have the feeling im done with the game, but theres not much more left to do really

awesome game, looks good, the fights are intensive, cool looking monsters and gear, playable as a solo or multiplayer, a very immersive anvironment

still a great game,
but mostly nostalgic
