Very fun to mess around with, especially ever since they added in Workshop support. However, don't buy the game expecting realism.

Cons:

-No actual tactics besides charge at each-other and then stand there hitting each other (melee units) or stand completely still and let out an unending stream of fully automatic fire (all ranged units).

-You can set your unit size to like 1 million, but they won't spawn on the map, I haven't tested much, but I believe the cap is somewhere around 500k units on the map in total.

-Make sure you have a good PC, I have a pretty average PC specs-wise, and I don't think I've ever gotten over 15-20 fps.

-Custom units seem to be broken for me, unit sizes will change sporadically for no apparent reason.

-The units are stupid, not in concept, but during gameplay. You have to change the way the army is shaped or they won't cross a small bridge and will instead blindly run into the river underneath and die (units cannot swim btw).


Pros:

-Very fun if you wanna make up scenarios in your head.

-If you're some youtube channel you can milk the hell out of this game, it's basically another Goat Simulator.

-Good time waster if you're bored.

tl;dr Horribly optimized time waster that is fun for like 5-10 hours of gameplay before you've done everything and play a more in-depth strategy game like Total War
