When good developers leave a big studio, create their own studio, and can make better games, says a lot about the influence that profits/businessmen have on game development.

This game of a game has the PERFECT music running in the background that reminds you of old French music and a composition that gives you the same feeling the Nier series music had.

The gameplay is what reminds me of my childhood of playing Legends of Dragoon, where you have turn-based combat but still have to interact to empower/defend with the quick-time events.

The storytelling just from Act 1 and the beginning of Act 2 + side quests is phenomenal. You have many questions in the beginning that slowly get answered, so you feel the development of the world rather than just getting it handed to you.

10/10 would wipe my memory to play this game for the first time over and over.
