Absolutely, one of the greatest experiences I've ever had playing a video game. From the voice acting to the writing, to the gameplay itself, everything about this game was nearly flawless. 9/10 incredibly good experience.

However, The first half of the game is much more polished than the 2nd half. The game's choices and all of possibilities kind of start getting stacked on op of each other and the game gets somewhat confused about what you have and haven't done as you move from act 2 to act 3. This is mostly minor, but can break immersion.

Additionally, I'm not a huge fan of the ending of this game, any of them. The ending felt very railroaded and devoid of choice/consequence that the game had done so incredibly well up to that point. The ending is a very small portion of the time I spent in this game, but if anyone reads this, know that the game is worth the experience, but the ending left something to be desired, for me at least.

This is by far the most incredible gaming experience I've ever had. I absolutely love this game with everything I am, and would recommend to any person on the planet, gamer or not. This game is so approachable and engrossing, immersive, and I can't even talk about it or I'd ruin your experience.

Play this game. Period.

I'm a long time "Souls-Veteran." My favorite games of all time have been Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne, respectively. Elden Ring is an incredible adaptation of the Souls formula into an open world.

This game is *HUGE*. I have no idea how they even made this game. Every nook and cranny has something worth checking out and after 150hrs I was still finding things on my subsequent playthroughs.

This is the best "Souls" game for a beginning player, and with the new 1.03 changes that statement only gets more true. The amount of options and ability to explore and "over-level" the mandatory bosses give so many different paths and so many "cheese" strats that even if this is your first FromSoft experience you will enjoy it and be able to complete it.

This has become my favorite game ever made just from the sheer amount of content that it has, and the amount of options available to the player. This was a solid 10/10 before the 1.03 patch, but now knowing that there will be actual content additions and finishing of rushed content, it goes all the way up to an 11/10.

It has it's problems, sure:

The PC port is pretty bad, and that's historical for Fromsoft (optimizations/Frame-Rate)
The Multiplayer system is janky
PvPMeta is pretty garbage (everything that's Overpowered is overused)

But no game is perfect, and this one is as close to perfect as I can imagine for someone that enjoys the Dark souls formula.

This game, man. Idk how they did it so good, but it's *THAT* good.
