I can't continue to stay quiet while these mixed reviews continue to roll in. Most of the bad reviews appear to be caused by poor expectation management. I have over 25 hours logged so far and I have not found myself bored even once. There is so much to do in this game that I often find myself being reminded that I've forgotten about 3 or 4 quest lines. There is plenty to do, you'll get plenty of gaming hours out of this game if you give it a shot.

To dive a little deeper on this, yes there's a grind, like every harvest moon/stardew valley type game has. However, one of my favorite parts of this game is, I never felt like I was forced to focus on any one part of the game. You can spend some time farming to get materials you need, and then you can simply neglect it for weeks on end. Spend some time building up your church and graveyard one week, spend time up at the quarry collecting stone for a couple days, go fishing the next day, and then spend some time exploring the dungeon. There is no penalty outside of opportunity cost.

TLDR; Read some positive reviews, read a few negative reviews, put it all into perspective and don't let other people's expectations ruin the fun of this gem of a game. You can decide for yourself what you want to focus on, the game doesn't force you to play in any one way.

I don't like crafting and world building games, but Craft the World is just a better kind of game. I play this game on my Surface Pro and use the pen to play the game. It works wonderfully and I really enjoy the casual play style.

This has to be one of the best games I've played this year. It is a fantastic meld of puzzle and board game style gameplay.

High quality ♥♥♥♥. Like a telltale game but perhaps a bit more serious. Loved the attention to detail in the environments. Can't wait to play the rest of the episodes.

This game is what Diablo would be if Diablo was fun!

Outstanding game. Incredible visuals and atmosphere. Gameplay is quite enjoyable and just enough variety to not get board of it.
