$50 down the drain. This game was a total bait and switch scam on the part of Take Two Interactive. I want my money back.

OWI ruined this once-great game with their radical ICO update, fundamentally transforming a near-decade-old title into an awkward abomination. Gunplay is now absolutely horrendous. It's a Parkinson's disease simulator with optimization issues.

Loved this game so much, it encouraged me to get my CDL license, and now I'm a real trucker. ATS is a vibe.

Lots of potential. It's a fantastic tactical FPS with an emphasis on close-quarter combat. Love the maps, game modes, weapon/character customization, gunplay, and the overall philosophy of the game. It's still in Early Access and far from complete, but I've nevertheless been having a blast.

The sound design in this game is the best I've ever seen (or heard) in a first person shooter, and it really solidifies the realism and immersion. Co-op mode is very addicting. It's so gratifying to see your squad's teamwork pay off after defeating menacing waves of enemy counterattacks. The maps are huge, detailed, and unique. Gunplay is just great. All in all, Insurgency: Sandstorm easily takes a spot in my list of favorite games on Steam. 10/10
