absolutely amazing that the devs managed to compress so much fun and intrigue into such a little package

TL: DR version:
The game isn't perfect however it is a fun shooter with good gunplay, excellent graphics and a very responsive dev team. This game screams potential and at this very moment the Devs are pushing for improvements constantly, definitely worth sinking 10hrs (or 10 levels) into before hitting make or break.

The full version:

Considering almost all of the negative comments aimed at the game focus on the Hit Reg I can with satisfaction point out that the bugs where patched out in less than 5 days, no I'm not saying this game is perfect far from it however that the Devs are constantly pushing out updates to correct issues left and right is excellent. So a summary of how the key areas measure up:

Gunplay:

The gunplay in the game is reasonably balanced, while a limited number of weapons seem to be a small amount ahead in terms of performance (AK and Death stalker EVO) nothing has risen to the fore as legitimately overpowered. With the recent update Hit Reg is pretty consistent with the exception being a few moments of more intense play (ie a full 8 on 8 in a mosh pit situation) where Hit Reg went a little wonky. The gun modification system is a clear upgrade on the original weapon however is fairly accessible, and again doesn’t provide enough of a boost to invalidate other weapons.
Characters:
Each character is instantly recognizable to GiTS fans. Each comes with a unique skill such as a cloak or thermal vision that provides an advantage on the battlefield; however the fun starts for real when an ability hits its mk.2 state where it becomes stronger and in a number of cases can be shared with 3 team mates. The awesome opportunities the system opens up translate clearly into the game itself, and there’s no win quite as decisively brutal as when a team coordinates and rushes the objective each packing a combination of hyper sprint, thermal cloak, thermal vision and medi gel armor. Unfortunately of the 8 current characters players are only given access to 3 of their choice with no chance to decide on their favorites before being subjected to the games economy if one wishes to acquire more characters.

Economy:

This is the part of the review that just isn’t sunshine and roses. During the first few levels constant level up packs drop a significant amount of GP (game points) the in game currency, unfortunately these come to a roaring halt at level 10 when the packs dropping upwards of 100,000 GP vanish and all that is left is a meager 20,000GP on level up. Of course the weapons in a free to play model are more expensive however the 220,000-380,000GP price tags are simply not feasible once the beginner’s treasure trove dries up and reality sets in however there of course is a premium market always waiting to make a quick buck off your impatience. The premium market is neither end of the spectrum, it provides a number number of skins and exp/GP boosts however also facilitates the unlocking of new characters, weapons and attachments at the speed of a credit card as opposed to the F2P grind, however the system doesn’t pay wall any game content (that I’ve noted so far) that isn’t purely cosmetic thus not stepping into the vile realm of Pay to Win.

Community:

Throwing this in here as a bonus, the community of this game has been so far impressive, while there is some negativity towards the game and its Devs for various reasons it has always been expressed politely through the proper channels leaving the in game atmosphere relaxed and calm if a little quiet (It’s like dead silence in comparison to CS: GO).

Summary:

Despite taking an extraordinary amount of flack early on the game and its Devs have proven to be both resilient and focused on constant improvement allowing the player experience to evolve in what is undoubtedly the smoothest and most polished Beta I’ve experienced. The few critiques I have are easily fixable, especially with the frequent updates (if always unscheduled) that show that the Devs are committed to the game and if upheld will lead to an excellent product when it hits full release.

I really don't know how to put this. Warframe as a game is like a Bipolar schizophrenic, Amazing highs and soul crushing lows. The graphics are great the story is interesting if vague in absence the guns and frames are fun to play. But no matter how great the rest of it is the grind, lack of balance and weird crazy ♥♥♥♥ teh Devs pull as you grind your soul in to dust for another drop just aren't worth it, the game hits a brick wall and you just can't carry on. The lack of a coherent legible structure makes progression a pain, Mastery Ranks are a pain in the arse to grind and no particuarly rewarding, more like gameplay blocks, the planet map is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and confusing to navigate making little sense and the quests are optional extras that get hardly any dedicated play (except the second dream questline). Incidentaly the quests and Events are where teh lore is revealed, so hardly at all. Basically fun fun for new people to try but numbered in days of enjoyment and eventualy as painful as stomach cancer.

If ya want to ignore the incoherent rant
TL;DR
Fun for a while 7/10
Please put me out of my misery

Well I used to have a glowing review up here ya know fun game, absolutley loved the tactical play and fast paced yet unique action. Any good game that is pure multiplayer requires content "boosts" so when the useless publisher Perfect World Entertainment the masters of neglect and ruining of good games forced the dev to bankruptcy I was rather upset, we had all been keen as on more content and all and now the games days where limited. BAM! out of the blue a new dev jumps to the helm promising massive overhauls and metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of content. Too good to be true of course, what was a uniquely PC game known as "the game with legit wallhackz!" is now a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ console port where masses of items are gone the ui went from ghost in the shell esque to a piece of ugly ♥♥♥♥♥. Unless hardsuits labs fixes their ♥♥♥♥ ups this game has no future.
