After 7 hours of exploring through the landscape and listening to some of my favorite birds, I can say this game is pretty enjoyable. Some minor bugs getting into the multiplayer servers nicely, sometimes spawn in dead, sometimes missing stuff. Terrain is sometimes a bit goofy, especially climbing steep hills. But overall the mystery of this story and the environment make up for the minor silliness by a long shot. Finding gear and upgrades feel enjoyable and honestly more rewarding than crafting, crafting recipies seem expensive at the moment and maybe need to get reworked for some basic early game things like the crafted bed. Puzzles and clues are mysterious and fun to uncover, and the lack of instruction besides the basic tutorial makes it feel all the more mysterious.

Devs are very responsive, and are constantly updating the game to make it better!
TLDR

Graphics 9/10
Gameplay 8/10
Story 9/10
Mysteriousness 9/10
Bird sounds 11/10 (Especially the Black Capped Chickadee)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Suggestions for the devs:
-Quick move items stack when put in backpack
-Less materials needed to craft early game items like a simple bed
-Keyring or key pouch for keys

I have played a number of "Telltale" type games before and I think this is the most well crafted I have experianced. The quick time events and hacking minigames make you feel like you're doing something other than just making the occasional decision and watching a movie. Choosing which heros go out to complete a mission based off of their attributes feels good and can be rewarding if you choose correctly.

The story itself is so far very engaging and I can tell it will have good replay value to make the opposing decsions to my first playthrough. The voice acting is excellent and I am especially amused evertime I hear Moistcritical talk as the silly bat.

Overall sofar its very enjoyable and I hope not to get spoiled on the endings before I get them myself!

Edit: I prefered Blonde Blazer

Very simple yet addicting game, the shooting aspect reminds me of an arcade game I played as a kid called Bust-A-Move. Though this game has a character that can move and dodge attacks instead of a stationary cannon. There is also a base building aspect to progress to unlocking more characters, and upgrading your stats to make the game easier. Seems like a game you could pour hours and hours into with all the different character / ball combos and fusions, as well as passive buffs.

Having fun so far, definately worth the price!

Arc Raiders has some small issues with glitchy terrian / interactions sometimes but honestly it is the best game I have played in a long time. There are friendlies and terrible people alike, but it causes a very interesting dynamic based off how you choose to play. Sometimes you get shot in the back with no words, sometimes you get help without asking, never know what you are going to get.

I have chosen a fairly passive playstyle where I will not shoot first unless shot at and have had mostly possitive interactions with players overall.

As someone who has a 40 hour a week job, I feel like the progression system is very reasonable to complete without feeling like you have to spend hundreds of hours just to have your things wiped at reset. Choosing to opt in or not is also a good choice to have if you dont want to lose all of your progress.

The Arc robots are fairly unique, and even once you learn all of their tricks some of them are still not easy to deal with without the right equipment. Their detection systems are pretty easily avoided for the most part but some seem to see you from a farther distance than others, as well as can sense you more depending on how much noise you make or if you are running / walking / crouched.

If I had to give the game a rating I would say 9/10, for the sole fact that I know that there are a few small improvements that could be made to some of the terrain and interaction issues with some objects. They dont happen super often but it can be frusterating to get stuck inside a rock or lauched into space.

Great game and for the price you really cant go wrong!

Without getting to nostalgic about RS this game is pretty good so far. I have killed the main quest boss and maxed (50) 3 skills as of now, as well as collected full Iron Plate Armor and Dark Robes. In comparison to Valheim there are positives and negatives:

+ Combat feels nice, weapon combos are cool
+ Decent array of creatures to kill
+ Intuitive building and crafting
+ Load stones feel good (No limits on what goes through them)
+ Dungeons are all different, and have secret / hidden paths
++ When receiving items from gravestone after death they retain their inventory slot
+++ Inclusion of spells is amazing game play, so many QoL things as well as super jump for movement / exploration

- Loading into dungeons is rough
- Only 1 big boss
- Easy to bug / cheese monsters when up high (Even ranged)
- Some items obtained in the swamps are small are difficult to see
- Very few building pieces, seemingly no use for tier 2 besides aesthetics
- Some items in game have no current use though i'm sure there will be in future updates
- No Magic or Ranged skills, though weapons can be used, and some exp gained
- No 99s yet

Overall I have very much enjoyed the game so far and will continue to play to max out my skills as far as they go and collect resources while I await future patches.
