I bought this game on a whim because it was 25% off during the Lunar New Year's sale. I had no prior knowledge of the game and bought it simply off the title and description alone.

As a preface, I love rhythm games and I love bullet-hell games. I'm not sure if it's been done before, but I have never seen the two genres combined before--I believe that's a really unique and interesting concept.

So far, I have not found any cons with the game (any frustration with it was entirely my fault lol). Instead, I'll be listing all of the pros/reasons why I love this game (sorry if that's not your type of review):

1) I love the simplicity of the designs and controls. It makes the game easy-to-understand and beautiful to look at. I often died because I was admiring the visually appealing levels.

2) The gameplay is flawless imo. I believe the tutorial does an incredible job introducing the player to both the controls and what you should be avoiding. I also enjoy how during the introduction/the build-up to each song, the developers introduce the player to any new threats/mechanics so that they are adequately prepared to adapt to the situation. I've gotten caught off-guard several times, but it never felt unfair.

3) Speaking of songs, the tracks/songs are amazingly fire! I enjoyed listening to every song; I'd often be dancing with the music as I tried to skirt around the chaos that was on-screen. Even when I had to repeatedly listen to the same song over and over again as I kept dying (because I'm bad), I would not get sick of the song. I think they're all awesome!

4) Hardcore Mode and Challenge Runs are super fun! They offer a nice challenge for those who breezed through the normal difficulty. They also have cool tracks that weren't available during the Story Mode.

5) Local and Online Co-op Multiplayer. I also very much enjoy the multiplayer aspect. The game is very fun to play solo, but being able to share the experience and just have fun with family and friends (or if you don't have any friends, you can queue into a match with other players), makes the game a lot better!

As I was writing this review, I thought of a con/suggestion I'd like to make:I would very much like it if there was a wider selection of music during the credits sequence. I love the music, but not that much.
