Feels less like a game and more like a bunch of small tutorial and less of a game... i don't like the whole idea of a bunch of small levels were they reset and was thinking this would be more like a longer term survival game where you stayed with the same camp and it got harder as you go.

I wanted to like this game. I've never played a Silent Hill game before and thought I'd start with this one. I will say I do appreciate some of the more "soulslike" elements, but what I don't like is the game's choppiness. It feels sluggish and choppy most of the time.
However, the biggest offender for me is a visual bug that makes the screen compress into the top right corner with flashing lines. The only workaround seems to be turning on motion blur, but I refuse to play the game with what's essentially the equivalent of covering my monitor with vaseline. So I'm stuck with this bug for the rest of the game, most likely. I'm playing on PC with a 3080, so this isn't a hardware issue. A game should not launch with bugs this significant affecting gameplay.
The story seems okay so far. It doesn't feel all that scary, though I appreciate that I haven't seen any cheap jumpscares yet. I think the atmosphere is good, though I am partial to the Japanese aesthetic. The ambient sound is mostly good, and I particularly liked the scarecrow section and the sound design there. Something I did like was the notebook/journal. In most games, I don't read any lore or journals and I can't stand it, but for some reason, not in this game. It was compelling enough for me to read most of the entries.
The character design is good for the most part, but sometimes the dress seems to behave like a rigid object instead of fabric. It doesn't flow naturally.
Combat for the most part is good, though repair kits are a little sparse, but I assume that's by design when you play on the hardest difficulty. I liked the dodging mechanics, but I was not a fan of the focus skill and found myself rarely using it. So far, I've only found two types of weapons, and if that's all there is, I'll be disappointed, but if there are more to discover, then we're good.
Another thing I don't appreciate is that while playing this game, I'm rather systematic about making sure enemies are killed. I've had everything behind me cleared, and I'll walk down a hallway and hear footsteps. I think, "Well, I know my six is clear, so the new enemy must be ahead or to my right/left." Nope. The game spawns an enemy behind you in certain corridors. It's only happened once or twice, but it feels immersion breaking.
What really frustrated me was the well key encounter. I spent all that time killing the guy with the big knife, thinking, "Good, now I can search the space and get that key." But the game decided that actually, this enemy doesn't die and just respawns. I feel like if the player chooses that way to solve the problem, it should be an equally fair solution, instead of forcing you to do what I did on my second attempt. Lure him to the side, crank the well, then repeat. The game should respect multiple approaches, not punish you for the "wrong" one.
Exploration feels only sometimes rewarding, but I do it anyway. The puzzles on the hardest difficulty are just okay. Some require what I feel are a bit too much in leaps of logic to solve, but otherwise they're decent.
I absolutely hated the Sadako boss fight. It seems pointlessly long and annoying.
Overall, I am disappointed and don't think I can recommend the game in its current state. Though I don't know about any other Silent Hill games, this experience makes me hesitant to try any others. We'll see how this one ends, but this franchise might be a one and done for me.

Game just dose not feel there... It has a game play loop but after about 6 hours I am calling it. Its sorta mindless not that i did not have an ok time. Not worth 24/30$

Destiny 2 has struggled with lackluster seasons, repetitive grinds, and unrewarding loot pursuits for a while now. Recent seasons like Season of the Haunted have felt light on meaningful content, making the game feel like it's stuck in a holding pattern. Meanwhile, issues like Crucible stagnation, bloated world loot pools

Destiny 2: Lightfall is not just the worst expansion in franchise history, it may be the most lifeless, soulless, and downright pathetic excuse for DLC that has ever graced this industry. This expansion violently spits in the face of Bungie's dwindling playerbase, hemorrhaging money from their wallets for what amounts to a steaming pile of regurgitated nonsense.

From start to finish, Lightfall screams of unbridled contempt for the Destiny community. The campaign is an onslaught of recycled missions so mind-numbingly dull and drawn-out that they could double as interrogation techniques. The storytelling has devolved into hapless, irrational drivel that feels nonsensical even by Bungie's basement-level standards.

Neomuna is an absolute joke of a destination - wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle. The art direction is like a bad acid trip and nothing in the world feels grounded or coherent. You'll have seen everything it has to offer within an hour. But it doesn't matter anyway since there's nothing meaningful to DO here.

The pathetic trickle of new content beyond the campaign comes off as almost sarcastic mockery of loyal fans. Worthless trinkets and reheated activities thinly veiled under a "new season" smack of naked greed and laziness. Playing Lightfall feels akin to paying full price at a restaurant for yesterday's leftovers.

In no uncertain terms, Destiny 2: Lightfall is an unapologetic cash grab and exposes Bungie's total apathy toward their own creation. Pouring any more precious time of one's life into this intellectual property would be a grievous act of self-harm.



Not to mention the state of the Crucible. PVP suffers from an egregious lack of new maps, with only one new map added in the last three years. It's clear Bungie has put minimal effort into refreshing PVP locales or introducing new modes. The same small map rotation has grown incredibly stale after all this time, yet Bungie continues to ignore community complaints begging for new maps. Stale meta issues like overpowered abilities and special ammo also continue to plague the Crucible, making matches feel repetitive. Bungie has given PVP the cold shoulder for too long, failing to address community complaints and deliver meaningful updates.

Would love to play the game however I cant wont even run. I think it dose not like my graphics card *shrug*
