I tried this game with little expectations, I have to say it surprised me.

The music is 10/10, the setting is a post-apocalyptic world.
The only negative point is the gameplay that becomes repetitive, because of the poor variety in level design and because you have to repeat the same actions to proceed in the game.

Anyway, I recommend it

I tried this game with very high expectations, but after an hour of gameplay I found a lot of flaws. The tutorial is useless, the keys are not listed or explained , the rooms are always the same three or four alternating, items are few and far between, bosses are frustrating and boring.


During a roguelike game run you will often get powerups that allow you to pass advanced levels, in GoNNER once you've found a starting loadout that you like, you'll probably mostly play with that only. There's very little incentive to experiment.


The only thing I really liked is the graphics, the sounds and the music.


From my personal experience I don't recommend this game, if you are looking for a challenging and fair game play enter the gungeon or crypt of the necrodancer.
