I just happened to read a forum thread about how the playerbase might be dying on the steam forums,
I do think it could be worth stating what you mentioned in your review there, as PixelTail is claiming there's 3000 players per month. But a playerbase of 150 active players is hardly functional.
The fact they made a post themselves and not the players defending the game shows how little engagement there actually is from the community.
The truth of it is, they log off when the player realises further development hasn't changed in 5 years.
