I really, really wanted to like this game. But after logging about an hour into the campaign and multiplayer, the game just doesn't feel good to play.

Settings:
While there are a lot of options to customize your style of play, features like smooth turning are not present in this game. So the amount you can play in one session feels artificially reduced.

Guns:
The Guns in this game feel great to fire, with each weapon having it's pros and cons. If you let go of your gun it automatically gets put back into your slot which is a nice touch. Each round is also a tracer round so you can see where and who you are shooting. That being said the reload mechanics are way out of date. It feels so clunky and so finniky it's like a chore.

Maps:
This is one of my biggest gripes with the game. In the trailer I thought the maps would be very large with different terrain in each section. I was wrong. The maps in every gamemode are small even the gamemodes like domination have super small maps. The replayability of multiplayer maps is non-existent.

Graphics:
The graphics are decent, nothing special. Though I should say that players have fixed animations when completing an action. While in games like pavlov players can see other players hands in correlation with their body. This takes away from the realism quite a bit.


Campaign:
The campaign is actually quite good. In fact it's the only reason I still own the game and haven't returned it. Once I complete it though, we'll have think about it.

Conclusion:
The game has a lot of potential, but in it's current state I cannot recommend buying it for 60$. The devs are pushing out frequent updates so I can't wait until I come back to this game in a couple months and see what's improved.

Truly, If you are looking for fun VR games you can play with friends, Pavlov is the best use of your 10$
