this is a pretty good game, though here are something that can be improved:

1). Graphics could be improved

2). Playable character definitely needs better voices they are ♥♥♥♥ but can be improved upon

3). Facial expressions definitely need a rework because seeing my lips being perked up just aweful cause when you see them in the main menu they look great but in actual in game they are just eww

4). the hold door button definietly needs to be seperate from the interact button/turning on walkie talkies etc.

5). If we stuck in a object there needs to be a way to get unstuck and if you had a checkpoint with xxx amount of money and you click restart from the pause menu it takes all your coins away but if you die normally from an enemy then your coins are preserved, i feel that both restarting and dying should preserve the amount of coins you have when you reached a check point.

beyond these issues i really liked the game though i want emphasize the characters voices sounds like AI and a version of AI that's terrible at most and i don't mind if you have to use AI to voice characters but as long as they are smooth and not crap!

if your thinking of buying this game DON'T it has massive mechanical issues such as NO CROSSHAIRS to see where your shooting, the par core is stupidly jank to the point i die more by it then just dying from enemies and i haven't even passed the squid part because i keep dying due to crappy camera angles.

i am not sure if the devs mind was there during the development of this game, but its something i never want to play again and im a HUIUUUGE TOMB RAIDER fan of the games, and this one just not it chief, i wish it had better camera angles and wish it wasn't relying always on par coring then maybe just maybe the game would be enjoyable with less par coring and more focus on what tomb raider did these days!

i love the game and i still play BUT FOR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SAKES they still have not fixed the performance issues that been plaguing this game since 2021 & it's 2026 and constantly getting constant fluctuation of fps going 60 then to 48 and here's the issues its not my hardware even on medium graphics settings it still runs like ♥♥♥♥

when i played this originally i had a RTX 2060 6GB and i understood why the performance was crap, then i upgraded to a RTX 3070 OC 8GB and performance tiny bit better but still crap, then recently upgraded to a RTX 5060Ti 16GB OC and still have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance

here is my specs:

CPU: Intel i7 10700KF @3.80GHZ

GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060Ti 16GB OC

RAM: 64GB DDR4 @3600MHz

Storage: Samsung SSD 990 EVO Plus 4TB

my temps never go past 70c degrees

please focus on fixing your damn game it's been 5+ years and still you focused more of dlc then fixing your performance issues!

i'm rewriting this review because the sand map is IMPOISSIBLE TO BEAT let alone quota is way to high to be achieved on tow players, do not buy there are better games that does the same thing this game does and you can actually beat them we spent more then 9 hours to try being the sand map and still to this day have not beaten it because its IMPOSSIBLE!

This got me on my toes fast i was immensely scared all throughout my gameplay, so for this here somethings i really liked vs what i kinda disliked during my play through:

Pros:
- Gets you consistently in alert mode and always on your guard even if the enemy isn't even close you.

- Various of different contracts that change on every game start and mission ending.

- Great customization for both your character and your ship.

- Various of weaponry and the ability to refill them without ammo limitations (this was very helpful on weapons that you needed ammo constantly filled to help kill or stun a specimen).

- Great scary atmosphere that constantly changes on every mission because you never know what your going to face on every mission you go in.

- Minimal assistance with some information regarding the enemy types to assist you on what to do in certain situations (it was something i hoped this game would do and it did it nicely) however to speak more depth on this i liked that because you can see what enemy it might be by reading the codex in the command center terminal and recognizing what the enemy will be like by evaluating the dead bodies that lay around the entire ship and it can be also make you think too because some enemies share the same death type.

- CO-OP in mind, this game does well when you play solo and can make it much harder and more scarier if you decide to play alone, however certain mission in CO-OP not only makes things go faster when it comes to mission completion, it also allows the game to adjust it difficulty based by how many players are in the session regardless if the mission difficulty is easy, normal hard or even nightmare. It's always funner to bring someone along on harder difficulty contracts as well!

- Graphics are great i have no issues with them and i wish there was raytracing to make things a but more realistic but if the dev does plan to add it have it off by default but allow players to enable if if they have a supported card that supports it!

Cons:
- Sometimes enemies will keep lingering on one specific player and will not go away after some time in a lock down area, this does help the other player complete objectives easily but makes the challenge too easy and prevents the players in the locked down room to proceed in assisting to complete the mission (i am sure this is a bug but only seen it do it in CO-OP).

- Depending on the enemy when you obtain the "Kill the specimen" contract using the recommended weapons it seems to not actually do much damage to the enemy, me and a friend were attempting to kill a specific enemy with the flame thrower and using the lightning gun to keep it from running away because without it it will just run away and heal to no avail of success of killing the type of enemy, i do get killing the enemy is not supposed to be killed easily but if i'm having to constantly get ammo and the little s#!t runs away and come back healed enough we will sit there with no avail of killing it with rinse and repeat methods to kill it, sure the body parts break off but i don't wanna spend a whole hour just doing this without any sign of it dying or getting majorly hurt. since this is a issue i don't blame the dev for this i just hope he adjust this to make it simpler or more easier depending on the missions overall difficulty, i play on easy i should be able to kill it easy too but that isn't the case either. just hope the dev improves that otherwise there is no reason to run kill the specimen contracts because of this current issue!

- Vents are just annoying when you crouch in them you crouch walking speed is much slower with if you played this before you know once you see an enemy in the vents its too late to run cause you cant. All you can do is pray and hope you can get out of the vent in time before they kill you and trust me some enemies are so obsessed with you they will linger around you until you go distance away for them to respawn somewhere else, then coming back to the vent is the best choice more annoying to do!

- Graphics are auto set to max by default even if the gpu isn't powerful enough to play the game at epic settings, i hope the devs fixes this and changes to either detect the gpus performance and adjust based on the users gpu or have it fixed by default to medium and users can adjust it anytime after that if they need to.

- When i first booted the game it ran great but when i launched the lobby so my friend can join me i received a fatal error and game crashed upon retrying again the game booted and it crashed again with the same error, now when i tried a third time it & worked flawlessly and still works flawlessly.

- Since this game just came out when this review was posted, just be aware there is only one map right now, there will be more one coming in winter of 2025 and more in 2026, i would rather the dev task his/her time then release half finished maps. this isn't much a big deal so don't be too harsh on the dev because of this!

Things i hope we can do but if not that is okay to:

1). allow players to fly out our ship manually if they wish to do so and initiate the warp drive manually from our consoles.

2). Allow players to fly to the ship and dock by pressing button on the console to auto dock to the mission ship or have auto pilot do it for them if they wish for the ship to drive itself.

3). When players end a mission allows players to fly away and warp drive back to our main ship but we fly into the ship bay and auto land when we enter for more immersion.

these are just suggestions the dev can decide if he/she wants to put this into their game just thought it be more immersive and more cool to manually pilot our shuttle!

AND REMEMBER EVERYONE:
This game just came out so if your expecting bugs to not happen any form of way then i suggest you do instead of refunding the game, report your bug encounter to the developer so they they can fix and push out an update to fix your issue, cause the dev cannot just fix it if you do not report the bug or else it will never get fixed, i have seen many people refund a game and never submit a bug report to the developer and by the time someone does report it, its either too late and the dev abandoned the game after its being completed or they are no longer with us or they just stopped caring!

campaign and multiplayer is great but damn the developers needs to handle the spawn trapping issue on team deathmatch and its becoming almost similar to call of duty where some players abuse the spawning system and kills players where they spawn please fix or add a short invincinble timer and allow them to kill spawn trapping players cause i enjoy tdm but not the spawn trapping!

Devs need to stop the spawn trappers this isn't call of duty!

This game runs great but I cannot recommend, you begin in next to a bus and a altar, you head to the altar do your thing and go find another.

The issue is the game needs a lot of work to be worth $10, some areas I fall through the floor, when I get caught by the dragon lady I get killed but no sex scenes and u have to return to the menu, I only played for 8mins and lost interest, the dev definitely needs to rework this game badly in order to be worth anyone's time and money!

its a decent third person game though i do have some feedback this game reminds me a little bit of breed laboratory , though some things i feel this game would benefit from:

- when defeated and player go into a sex scene would love to see inflation occur, this could help the immersive experience if the player keeps having the same situation multiple times, sadly there is no animation in the game, but id definitely welcome it.

- Quest markers should be added because its stupid that i have to figure put where i should go to complete a task, now i can understand if the devs intentions were to be as immersive as possible but you can add where the marker disappears and tells the player they are in the objective area and the player just has to find what they need to complete the task much easier

- Sprint toggle i would say is half there and half not, when using a controller and you click L3 the character goes to jogging but for full on sprinting you have to hold down the L3 button to do full sprint, now this is not a big issue but it would be nice to have an option that gives players the ability to choose full sprint or jogging as there default setting when they click L3.

- UI needs to be improved badly, if i need to interact with something etc i kind feel that why do controllers need to use the left joystick to hover over something? and why do i need to keep holding select to keep the objective screen open why cant i toggle it open and close; don't even forget when you pause using start, you have to manually click resume game to un-pause why cant i click start again to un-pause that's annoying.

beyond these issues the game is pretty fun, i am enjoying it and hope it gets better overtime!
