the skate game is "fun" enough.... it's a game of all time
(TL:DR as a skating/Skate game it's bad but if you can't/don't want to pay for a better skating game it's free)

pros:
- it's f2p (bar the cool looking cosmetics in typical EA fashion are paid)
- kinda smooth gameplay
- loot box system doesn't seem to allow you to get dupes so far (at least i haven't)

mixed:
- the song grab mechanic is kinda cool way to collect music but it will get tedious and annoying after a while i feel
- purely online lobbies (while that is cool and all an offline option would be great)

cons:
- no story/career mode
- no hall of meat
- lack of game modes they don't even got S.K.A.T.E >:( (it's lobbies are online why tf not at least add S.K.A.T.E)
[as for game modes they plan on adding them later down the line {it's in their roadmap} but they could've at least added S.K.A.T.E or focused less on micro transactions and more on modes BUT THIS IS EA WE TALKING BOUT]
- art style used for the character is horrible (I think this may be also because it's a planned phone release but could've done improvements for pc/console tbh)
- lobbies feel a little empty (could be cause of where I live or cause it's in early access still (...... even though this is 5 years deep in dev and had loads of testing bts)
- songs are bad and some are even censored (like fr skaters and gamers are the last people that are gonna care what a song says)
- lack of npc's to smack around and crash into or interact with you (no security guards no nothin)
- you can't smack players around or crash into them it seems so far (at least i haven't been able to)
- little to no air time off of anything
- world is too clean (the other games had an array of areas from poor to rich with clean to littered but this one feels like it's only the rich areas so far to me)
- the only way to get items is either spend irl money or use in game to roll a loot box system to have a chance to get it (can't buy outright unless using irl cash)
- all the vocabulary they use is cringe asf it's like what some Hollywood director would think skaters say rather that what they actually do (also the language they use is also censored (I'm constantly yelling at the voice over to shut up))
- unlike in the past ones there has been no input by skaters be it local or pro and i haven't even seen any pros in the game (lack of skate culture)
- the only "skate" brand i have seen in it is Vans which they've been out of the loop and washed for a long ass time
- the ragdolling sucks compared to previous games
- the ai bot asstant they replaced coach frank with is annoying

as this is in early access i hope it will improve but i fear it won't so as it stands this has to be a negative vote from me

Absolutely amazing game will be buying after it drops had a very fun time playing it does the roguelike well enough alongside the creature collect as to where I feel like I can do many runs without getting bored unlike other roguelikes I've played in the past (creatures and characters looked very good too)

absolutely love this game the atmosphere, game play, story and etc, the bugs I have experienced have only served to make my play through better by being hilarious

god tier game, it is extremely fun more so with friends so you can play ewok hunt.

IMO a better abillity br than apex

what I like about this game is that I can chill while playing it but what I think it needs is a player made custom kill animation workshop.

Love it and the mods you can download for it in the steam workshop I also love the DLC's

It glitched out and woudn't close and now it says i'm playing it every time I open steam and I can't uninstall it or delete local content because it thinks i'm still playing it.
