Solid game ruined by what I can only assume was a buggy PC port. Crashes semi-frequently and the decade long pausing bug still persists. Plus you have to run through Rockstar's own launcher which is never fun.

Sony continues to block a gargantuan list of countries from playing the game for really dumb, corporate bureaucratic reasons.

But new balancing philosophy is good me likey. Game isn't "easy" you still get absolutely rocked if you're not paying attention but it's genuinely engaging now rather than having to boot up MGSV for practice on evading enemies.

I want this game to be good so bad and I keep coming back to it but it's hard to justify when there's so little in the game world to actually interact with other than vague hints during exploration which is 50% loading screen between systems and doing repetitive jobs (the best of which are locked behind a DLC that literally costs more than the base game)

A giant expansive game world isn't a replacement for engaging content, I'd take a single system with gameplay that can actually be interacted with rather than the 'realistic' galaxy Elite has where there's honestly not a ton to do that's any fun and what little is there has huge credit hurdles and the DLC to deal with.

Triple the size of New Vegas for a quarter of the experience. Poop tier garbage, and even worse modding scene.

Pretty fun questing RPG marred by poor DLC integration and the choice to spread the story across multiple (currently unfinished) games. Would suggest only buying the base game and at most the Band of Bastards DLC, the rest are glorified fetch quests to pad out runtime.

Damn this game is a massive stinker. You'd typically expect that from a game well over a decade old, but this is one that's been updated across that duration, and still to this day. I don't think it takes a decade to take a hint on game design and change some archaic systems.
