ENOUGH OF THE SOULS RIP OFFS

I can't not stand the Souls style of gameplay. It is not fun. Call me a noob if you want; hell call me the DSP of gaming. But this game is just 100% garbage as far as gamplay. It is basically hit roll hit roll. I am tired of this ♥♥♥♥. Enough already. And I miss the classics like Devil May Cry 1, 3, 4 and 5 along with the original God of War trilogy. The graphics are fine and even the story is interesting. I just can't stand that Souls combat. It is annoying and tiring.

This game is trash. The boss fight is god awful. I all most broke a controller over this game and its not even that damn good. The combos are lame. If you want to play Bloodrayne play the original 2 games and skip this game.

Well, I will say this is with out a doubt one of the best first person shooter games I have ever played. I am not just saying this because of the developers/publishers of this game happen to be the same ones who owned this gaming distrubution known as Steam. No, I really mean it. The way they do gameplay cutscenes in this game is excellent. There is barely anything linear in this game at all; I just wish more modern first person shooter would follow this format instead fo hours and hours of cutscenes to keep a story moving. The graphics of this game is still excellent after all these years.

Finally Thoughts
A must buy for people who love first person shooters.

Well, I have played this game for a number of hours. And unlike many people who writes these reviews, I have the game beaten. The game is fun if you are looking for action topped off with some horror elements. What I will say is that this game is far from survival horror. Basically, this game is a spirtual sucessor to Resident Evil 4 as far as gameplay; however, the game has more survival horror elements than Resident Evil 4 but it has a long way to go before it goes back to the roots. Now on to the game itself.

The game basically takes place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 (prologue as well) making it in movie terms a interquel (a story that is set between the original and the sequel). As far as the story goes, the plot is basically revolved around Jill Valentine and her new partner Paker investigating a ship named the Queen's Zinoba (sorry if I spelled it wrong). There are many twists and turns through out the story so, I won't say any more.

On to the gameplay, I think the gameplay is smooth and responsive at 60 fps. The only issue I have is the game forcing you to have a partner 95% of the time. I know back during the Resident Evil trilogy that you had AI partners but I feel like getting rid of AI partners for the most part would make the game have more tension. Also, I didn't like the fact that there was a whole lot of ammo to be found. But the worst part is the scanner. I think this is a device for causals would can't seem to find items.

Overall, the game is a fun time for people who likes action with some survival horror elements mixed in. The old hardcore Resident Evil fans who want a game like the Resident Evil trilogy will not find what you are looking for here. So, let me summarize again. This game is a must buy for action fans while this game is a skip for surivival horror fans that want a challenge.

This game is by far the best superhero game ever made. If we can get more of these gaems, then we could have an interesting gaming generation.
