It took me a while to warm up to Chroma Zero, but after making it through the game's finale, I'm really glad I got the chance to experience it.

This game is often described as a "Wilds-like", so I started my playthrough excited to re-experience the wonder I had when I first played Outer Wilds in 2020. I'd recommend against making such comparisons. Let the game stand on its own or you'll risk getting frustrated by your own expectations.

Unlike Outer Wilds, Chroma Zero starts out a bit slow. Outer Wilds immediately promises a space adventure and throws you into a town full of colorful characters. Chroma Zero flashes a lot of pretty lights at you, but It's not immediately clear what else it has to offer. You're probably going to spend some time unsure how to even find the next puzzle. As such, I was a bit disappointed during the games first act. I found myself wondering if this was actually the game for me.

Fortunately, I persevered through the initial learning stage, discovered some of the game's more interesting mechanics, and started to enjoy the puzzles that the mid-late game offered. One of my major mechanical frustrations with the early-game was solved once I reached the mid-game, so that certainly helped make my time more enjoyable. The game's final few puzzles really sold it for me, and I applaud the devs for putting such a cool experience together.

Chroma Zero has some rough edges, but I certainly recommend it to anyone who loves solving puzzles and uncovering new secrets. Give it a try!

OMOCAT, why would you ever make this game?

Also, OMOCOAT, thank you for making this game.

The gameplay is solid, but it can sometimes get tiring if you're not the biggest fan of turn-based combat. I was more than willing to overlook that for the story. Although I wouldn't say OMORI is one of my favorite *games* of all time, it is one of my favorite stories at the moment, and certainly one of the most impactful games I have played.

I'm honestly shocked I never got around to writing a review for this game before, but I think the number of hours I have played of this game speaks for itself. The game genuinely takes hundreds of hours to complete, but even if you are not one to 100% games, each run of this game is unbelievably fun on its own. The amount of variety that the items, floors, enemies, bosses, trinkets, characters and everything else this game provides means I almost always can come back to Isaac without being bored of playing too much of the same thing. There are very few games I can recommend as much as the Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and its expansions.

This genuinely might be one of the best games that I have ever played. No other game has given me the same sense of wonder or amazement. I don't want to spoil anything, but you should seriously buy this game.

Update: It's been multiple months since I last played this game, and I still consider it the best game I have ever played. No other game has left such a lasting mark on me. Please play it if you haven't already.

I've spent far too much time playing this game. Hollow Knight has some of the most amazing world design, gameplay and art all mixed together. I absolutely recommend it.

Absolutely fabulous and well-polished game. Combat is so much fun, whether it's against basic enemies or bosses. The music, art and story are all great. The only downside is that it takes a very long time for them to update the game. If this game has left early access by the time you're reading this, buy it RIGHT NOW.

Extremely fun open world game that can be modded to Oblivion. Definitely worth a try now that the paid mods have been removed. :)

I loved the beginning, but the game forces me to log into some EA account just to not have repetitive creatures. Apparently one has already been registered to my CD key, so I often see my own species on other planets. To sum it up: DRM makes it so much less fun.

Horribly unbalanced. You get the best gun and you win until everyone starts going after you at once.

Unlike many other reviews, I really like this game. There are two modes, horde and scavenger. In both modes, you have 4 players on a team. In horde mode, you fight waves of zombies with your team and fight a powerful boss at the end. In scavenger mode, you fight both zombies and two other teams of players, trying to gather as many supplies as possible, either by capturing supply points or killing strong zombies. My only problem with the game is that the leveling is too slow. I got this on an open weekend, so it may not be worth your money to actually buy this. I believe that it will be free when the full version comes out, so wait until then. You'll have a great time!
