I have only 18 hours on this game and I rarely play it now and I have worker out why.

this game gets a positive review from me but I think they have done it a bit wrong. I love the game, it's a fantastic idea, the tools and parts are superb but my problem is that you are given everything right off the bat. Though that gives you great freedom I found it was simply overwhelming. there were too many things to do and too much information to take in.

This game would work better (in my oppinion) if you started simply, if there was a skill tree to level up that unlocked more abilities and parts as you went. that would keep you interested and not drop you straight in at the deep end.

Other than that it's great. Bearing that in mind I hardly play it now and have only put 18 hours in, so if you are overwhelmed by too much information then maybe you should lay off this one at least for now.

If you loved the 90's game Road Rash which came out on the Sega Megadrive then you will find this game quite enjoyable. It is no where near the acheivement that Road Rash was but with this being early access I am hoping it can get closer to it. Currently it is not worth the price tag. There is no where near enough content to keep you going longer than a few hours. The races are short which can be irritating if you fall off near the as you will not have enough time to catch up, they are quite often extremely hectic and it is primarily luck that ensures you get through it. There can be bombs exploding, cars flying everywhere, cars swerving all over the road and occasionally cars that fall from the sky in the aptly titled halucineagenic zone. There are two lots of upgrades, temporary ones which last for as long as you are alive and are bought with cash won from races and ones you buy once dead with the XP you have earned whilst alive. This is quite fun but again not a patch on Road Rash. I would like to see shops in which to purchase new bikes and parts to upgrade the one you have and new outfits to buy and things like armour. The races need to be longer as you are just getting into them when they come to an end, an end which allows you to carry on riding until the gane loads. I would like to see something of a story too, not anything dramatic like Grandma needs a new hip but doesn't have insurance so I race to pay for it kinda crap but just yes we race it's what we do. In Road Rash there was characters I didn't want to fight with as they always said nice things to me and there were jerks you didn't mind repeatedly bashing. Something like that is always fun. And dear god please lose the Mariocart level, currently the last level, riding on a rainbow in space? Come on, you lost me there.

In summary this is a fun game and a good way to waste some spare minutes but so far the content is lacking and the races are too short. But otherwise an enjoyable experience, unfotunately not worth the current price tag.

Euro Truck Simulator Russian style!

This game is very good, it's slow but that allows you to move your camera angle around and really appreciate the way the trucks move, bounce and jarr, the way they sink in mud and splash through rivers. And the joy of taking something where it really shouldn't be. If you like ETS2 and you like offroad, then you will love this. The self satisfaction you get from removing yourself from a sticky situation is grand, and if your a hoarder of achievemnets then this game has many.

It's a special game that looks beautiful and does just what you'd expect it to do.

I love this game. The music score is very atmospheric and appropriate to the game. It is a beautiful and emmersive game and exploring the map is a pleasure, there are so many little nooks and crannies to explore and parts of the story to find. The story is intruiging , interesting and dark, it feels very Lovecraftian. It's a game you keep coming back to and you will die a lot until you get the hang of it. I just cannot express how well it has been put together. For a top down game it captures your soul and drags you into the moment, leaving you feeling that someone is watching over your shoulder.

Just love it

I started playing this game just as you would with GTA running around doing random stuff, random missions, some story line and loads of taking money from anndom strangers. But then I began to pay attention to my surroundings, all these computer people going about with their own little lives, I started actually looking at who's phone calls and texts I was hacking, seeing their own personal lives, jobs and incomes and some random info such as "recently had plastic surgery" or "on multiple anti-anxiety meds". The converstaions they had, from people grieving over death to people talking about their sex lives. Do you have any qualms emptying the bank account of someone suffering from cancer?
And then there are fire trucks, one came past me lights and sirens going so I decided to follow it to see what the issue was. And as I was driving I was thinking "I'm gonna be pissed if just keeps drivingha round the city with lights and sirens going. But no an announcement came over their radio that I could somehow with my clever phone also here, "All units stand down, emmergency call has been cancelled." I was dissapointed, I wanted to see a fire or a car crash, not that I hadn't caused plenty of those things myself, what with hacking traffic lights and blowing up electricity generators. It's fun to do that, just stand on a busy street corner and hack the lights. They all turn green at once and everyone guns it. There is chaos and often explosions, the lights go to flashing red for a while till the system can reset itelf or something. pedestrinas are shouting calling emmergency services, asking if anyone is hurt. I remember standing there in awe as all these people did their thing. Then I heard approaching sirens, "this is going to be interesting" I thought. An ambulance hurtled around a far corner and came racing towards the chaos I had caused. It screeched to a halt on the footpath but not before ploughing into a car. It then reversed a bit, gunned forwards and rammed the car, "♥♥♥♥" I thought, "Is this how the emmergency serviced behave in America". As I stood watching this spectacle I recieved a notification that a crime was about to take place nearby. I reluctantly left the scene to perform my vigilante duties, but not before witnessing the ambulance eventually driving past my scene of destruction and speeding off up the road lights and sirens still wailing,"where the ♥♥♥♥ is it going?" I thought, but I could not race to find out, I had work to do.

It must appear odd at times, but I have become rather emmersed in this little city here. I will often stand around on a street corner seeing who walks past and briefly looking at a snippet of their lives, or emptying their bank accouunts before suddenly shooting off at a full sprint straight accross the road without even looking, relying on my parkour abilities to slide over any bonnets that appear,(Hoods for you Americans), before sliding up to a wall and pearing into a dark alley. Casting glances around a corner I spot the possible victim, "what Kind of stupid old women would be standing in a dark alley way at 2 in the morning faffing about with her mobile phone?" I could not comprehend this woman. then there he was, walking down the alley towards her, casting cautionary glances around himself. I must remain out of sight or else he'll just walk off, I have to catch him in the act, this also means I must be near enough to get to him quickly before he harms old Mrs Cordella. He gets close then begins shouting in the old womans face "It's a demon, it's a demon!" "Well she should at least be put off from standing around in dark alleys now at least" I thought before running out to quickly beat the guy with my retractable baton. She runs off into the street screaming bloody murder and stop to check on my victim, he's a 47 year old bible reader and ex psychiatric patient. "Figures!" And I walk out to carry on watchig people.

I appeared on the coast somewhere. I had no idea where, I had spawned with the minimum, two bandages and a roadside flare. I had no map to work out my location and nothing with which to defend myself. I ran over the hill and there was a small town. I was noticed by some zeds and ran away from the town. Let me tell you, these zombies do not give up easily. After a lengthy run throuhghout the countryside dodging in and out of tree. I was finally rid of my pursuers. Now where the hell was I,nothing but hills and trees to be seen. Well, more running. Eventually I come across a barn and once again I am noticed and chase is given. Another run through the countryside and more trees and hills later I find another hillside village. I begin creeping well before I get to it, I have learned something at least. As I get closer I notice the zombies milling around and go prone, crawling my way through the wet grass, skirting zombies and stopping now and thehn when they get to near. But then of course one of them would like to walk right where I am lying and I'm off for another run.

Yes there is a definate pattern forming here. Get lost in the wild, run and eventually discover some buiildings, get chased by zombies away from your finding and lost again you are. This goes on and on for some time. Eventually I died, one too many run ins with no means of fixing myself, my vision went all grey and blurred in and out of semi focus. Running around with your screen doing that you find yourself squinting at it, willing your eyes to make sense of what it sees and all the time fighting the headache which is arising from the disorientation this causes.

I died a few time s this way and learned to be extra cautious, more creeping and creeping slowly with the shift button held in too. Next time I spawned again somewhere on the coastline, I ran over the hill and noticed another small town. I crept up to it, slow creeping around any threats and found a dead man. Upon study I found out who he was and what he had died of, blood loss. And I also found a couple more bandages and flares. I proceeded to the building he was near and crept inside closing the doors behind me just to be sure. There was another dead guy lying near a table. I had hit the jackpot, this guy had been well geared up when he died, again from bloodloss. I aquired an alice pack, tool kit, matches food and drinks and weapons with ammo and a hatchet.

I was feeling good now, and I might add a touch over confident, which ultimately led once again to an untimely demise when I tried to take on everyzombie I saw with my hatchet. the first few were not an issue, hiding nearby I simply clouted them as they walked by and down they went. The next ones got the better of me, I was noticed creeping up on one and he ran at me. Hitting a slow ambling zombie with an axe is a walk in the park. trying to hit one running at full pelt in an erratic pattern is a completely different kettle of fish, he got me a few times, some of his friends noticed and joined in the fun and games. I hit and ran, got my gun out (my guy stops running to do this!) and shot which only alertedmore of them. I ran to the sea and in I plunged. Now zombies are not bees and the characters in this game are not fast swimmers. The last of my health left me as I tried in vain to doggie padlle away from the voracious horde.

I have given ot a positive review because it is a rather marvelous creation. The map is enourmous and will take a good long time to explore. It looks good too, as you crawl through the long grass you push it down, flattening a trail as you go. Vehicles are good in the fact that you can store things in them too, load it up with weapons and food and you have a mobile home. However they are rather difficult to drive and you want to be extra careful with them as the last thing you want to do is crash into a wall whilst trying to escape from a horde of zombies and put it out of action.
This is a survival game and it will test you to your limits, if there ever was a zombie apocalypse it would not be a walk in the park and this game does a grand job of highlighting that fact whilst also reminding you that it is after all, only a game.

This game has to be one of the best zombie games I've played. First off you have a free roam open world to go and do as you please. All locations are accessible, you can enter any building and have a rumage around for supplies. it's third person so none of that confusing twirling around trying to see who's sneaking up on you. throw into this vehicles and you can do what we've all dreamed of, hurtle into a hoard of zeds in a car and play zombie skittles. Such a satisfying past time. There is a lot to explore though it can become repetative once you've clocked up a good many hours though! They've added the safe zones upgrades too which means you can add workshops and gyms and such like to your safe zones allowing you to fix weapons or vehicles and gain extra stamina. The characters are all playable once you've gained their trust and can be levelled up, but bear in mind once they die that is it they are gone, run out of survivors that you've befriended and it's game over. Yes I love this game, hope they can continue to bring out more DLC.

This game has been quite enjoyable, ok it's not as loaded as GTA IV or saints row but it has a Borderlands kind of feel to it, with a good selection of weaponry to try out too. Yes the missions can get a bit repetative at times but you are rewarded with unexpected help from fellow gamers quite regularly which often is very much needed as some of the missions can be very difficult to pull off on your own. > Lets see how much longer I can play it for.
