I'm usually not a fan of Zombie games, but this game does it right. It was so immersive too. Highly recommend.

If you like Slay the Spire, you will like this. A lot of similar mechanics and I enjoy the whole Faction decks this game introduces. Simple as that.

What I like about this game: The trailer is exactly what to expect from the game. If the trailer gave you goosebumps, I recommend buying this game. It's only 2 hours worth, but the games are simple retro throwbacks and they go by so fast enough to end before they get stale. The Ninja side-scroller was a little tough, especially if you are not good with reflexes on quick game-play.

I almost thought the price point was too high at first, but after thinking about it, I've paid $60 for plenty of FPS games that last about 10 hours a piece, which comes out to an hour and forty minutes of game play per $10. So, it made sense.

Hours of enjoyment. This game is all about "boss" fights. Not the "do this things 3 times, then this thing 3 times" kind of boss, but actual pattern driven bosses that shift patterns based on the situation. What's even more cool, is when one boss walks in on your fight with another. Boss v.s. Boss territory fights are epic!

This game both starts and ends very strong. I thought I was in for something great, until the the plot twist happened. The majority of the game is spent destroying gang-owned property and key people to force the gang leader to take things into their own hands and come to take care of the mess you made. Then you kill them. Rinse and repeat for a very very long time. Destroying rackets and mini bosses got extremely boring because it was so easy to do, time consuming, and you use the same moves all game. It was grueling, but I stuck with it until the end and actually really enjoyed the final battle scene.

Mafia II was much better than this title. If I were you, I'd just watch an LP of this games beginning and ending.

What a great game! It HoF balances skill and luck beautifully in this modular dungeon crawler adventure. At first, I thought card chosing was random. But it's not! You can actually follow the cards as they shuffle. Of course, the top one is easy to follow, but it gets tricky with the back ones. But when they all line up, they line up at a certain depth relative to each other. When they come out, I'm pretty sure they keep that same depth. So if you are good enough at keeping an eye on the depth, you can follow the card as it goes back into the 1, 2, 3, 4 position. It gets much tougher the faster they shuffle, but that mini game is not necessarily chance as it first seems. Once I understood that, I was able to get success much more often by keeping a close eye on the shuffle and following my instinct.

I don't have to tell you what Dirty Bomb is, it's in the description. This game runs really smooth and kills and wins feel so good. Hands down one of the top team shooters that is even fun when you queue in by yourself. I recommend at least trying it out. Free for a limited set of characters, and the full character pack is a good price.

My experience with XCOM games started with XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It was a great game! I recently saw a sale with The Bureau for only about 4 bucks, so I decided to pick it up. Knowing it was different than XCOM, I was a little leary of it being worth playing but hey, it was only 4 bucks. Man was this a diamond in the rough! I'm quite familiar with (and happen to like) 3rd person shooters. So this game was very comfortable for me. On that of that, I loved Enemy Unkown and the strategy part was similar. You probably know by now The Bureau isn't turned based, but you can significantly slow down time while you issue commands. I'm not sure why the meta score is only 66/100. I give this game a good 87 - 92 out of 100. I would have been satisfied paying 30 bucks for it.

If you like Enemy Unkown and don't mind 3rd person shooter action, I recommend trying this one out. Especially if it goes on sale again!

Likes:
* This game very much felt like Super Metroid and Blackthorne in one package.
* Very solid gameplay, it really felt like a AAA SNES title.
* It was a great experience 99% through, Read "Dislikes" for the other 1%.

Dislikes:
* No maping system. A lot of the time, I would find a key to a couple of doors I remember passing, but don't remember where. The level is not exactly linear either, so backtracking is not only necessary but very repetive without a map or a really good memory. Though, this could be a positive if you like making your own maps.
* I was let down at the end. I'll admit, I've never seen an ending like that and it made me slightly chuckle. But the game was making me want WAY more than I actually got out of it.

Other Notes:
* The game is pretty short, (took me about 3 hours, which included some downtime). No problem though, because the price point is low.

Overall, it was just an 'ok' game. Truthfully, If I knew then what I know now about it, I wouldn't have purchased it.
