I’ve played many games, but none have touched me the way OneShot did. This isn’t just a game - it’s an experience that stays with you long after the screen goes dark. Saying goodbye to Niko felt like saying goodbye to a real friend, and when it ended, it genuinely left a void in my heart.

What really blew my mind was how the game constantly breaks the fourth wall. It doesn’t just talk to the player - it reaches out beyond the game itself. The moments where you have to step outside the game, think differently, and interact with the world beyond the screen felt incredibly creative and intimate. It made me feel like I was part of the story, not just controlling it.

And the Solstice ending… wow. I honestly did not expect that. It completely recontextualized everything I thought I knew about the game and hit me emotionally way harder than I was prepared for. It was surprising, powerful, and unforgettable.

OneShot is proof that games can tell deeply personal stories in ways no other medium can.
