A wonderful addition to the Borderlands series. It's as silly and humerus as the other games. If you're a Borderlands fan, then you'll love all the references this game throws at you while wondering Pandora.

Another job well done, Telltale!

8/10, would Skag Lilith's gully again.

The series has been restored to its roots, huzzah!

Engaging story, fantastic dark atmosphere and chilling enemies. The puzzles are as good as ever. There's also plenty to do, if you're a collector. I've not played any of the DLC to date, but the base game is great anyways.

Worth checking out the demo before hand, as its a prequel to this game. Short and sweet.

8/10, would go tell aunt Rhody again.

Absolutely amazing game.

The game is very atmospheric, dark and has a great sound track. The combat is fantastic and challenging. For a more engaging experience, I recommend playing in the dark with headphones on.

The in-game screenshot mode is also well worth the time. Quickly accessible and can produce high quality game captures from any angle, distance and filtering you want.

9/10, would adventure to Viking Hell again.

Charming and amusing point-and-click game with an unusual and surprising ending.

It's short, but plenty to do to fill those hours up.

8/10, would hug again.

Quite spoopy, a good spoopy though.

I wanted to quickly rush through this one, before I played the main game. How ever, I am intrigued to explore the house more. Rather than just rush through it, since I am easily spooked.

Very atmospheric, excellent sound ques to throw me off at times, and creepy as hell.

Nice to see Capcom go down a different path to the series, more of 'back to their roots'.

Fantastic short game. One of those titles I've been meaning to play, but keep putting off due to bigger titles popping up. Not too long, but enough content to keep you occupied for a while. The game features a 'hard mode' when completed once, this mode adds challenge where you can't die, else you start again. So be cautious!

Pros:
  • Chilling atmosphere,
  • Great cutscene art,
  • Engaging Story,
  • Fun little puzzles.

Cons:
  • Controls feel a little clunky at times

8/10, highly recommend if you have it but not had a chance to play it yet!

This is a fantastic little gem. Beautiful artwork, great music and unique content. Each level was memorable, including the boss fights.

Quite a short game if you just play the main story, but there is new game+ content worth a few extra hours.

10/10, would ascend to valhalla again.

Overview
Dying Light is a fantastic zombie parkour game, which reinforces you to keep looking over your shoulder when you're not on the move.

Coming from only playing the vanilla game, no DLC content, I found the game to be full of content and challenges. The game scales really well with content and player's abilities, so there is a constant challenge to what ever you do. And you'll never be over powered.

Multiplayer
Got friends who equally have a love hate relationship with zombies? Then I highly recommend this title. Don't get me wrong, this game is fantastic on your own. Hell, that's what I did for my first play through, and I am currently doing a second one with two other friends. The game as a nifty competitive system where you can open up a challenge to the other players to try and kill the most zombies, college the most valuables and run the a destination the fastest. This opens up a lot banter with you and your friends, just hope they're not a sore loser!

Parkour
The Parkour side of the games is just fantastic on its own, and opens the game immensely. It enables the player to fight their enemies based on the terrain, be it densely populated housing to open rocky areas outside suburb areas, making encounters ever more interesting. Once you unlock the grappling hook, oh boy, does the game become more fun :D

Quests & Challenges
The main and side quests are interesting. It opens up the player to the world around him, showing the power struggle between innocent people trying to survive, vs the power hungry enemies who want everything for them selves. It also shows what a world like this can do to a person who is separated from communities and try and survive on their own, driving them to insanity.

If you get bored of doing the quests in the game, there are plenty challenges around which mix the game up a bit. These challenges range from parkour speed runs, to raiding heavily infected & enclosed areas to gain beneficial resources for survivors. They're very rewarding as well, and are well worth doing between quests and running around the city areas.

Skill System
The skill system reflects the time / work you put into your game session. Over time as your running, fighting and helping others you gain experience in different areas where you can improve upon yourself and make the game easier / more interesting for yourself as you battle the undead hordes. The skills basically parkour more fun, fighting easier without getting winded after 4 swings and allowing you to craft more interesting items to use.

This balances the game out quite nicely, so you'll level up along with the game as you play.

Conclusion
The game provides a lot of content, what you'd expect from a triple A title. The extra game content, not the cosmetic DLC, will nicely add at least 10+ hours of game play for you. With that estimate, I am taking the year of free DLC into account, assuming it is not just cosmetic lark.

9/10, would jump off a cliff into some rubbish again.

Early Access Review
Words cannot describe how much I love this game right now; I simply cannot get enough of it.

Personal Thoughts
This game caught my eye from a few streams I've watched. The longer you survive, the more tense it gets. Just watching the match's total player count drop, the zone get smaller and hearing constant gun battles in the distance makes all the more thrilling.

I've constantly lost so far, mostly straight away because I feel like I can take on the world with my fist! All I can say is, do that in the open. Because following a player into a house will always end badly, at the end of their gun barrel. But I love learning from it, how I can approach everything better and more discretely, just try and better myself for next time.

I would recommend playing with other people, friends hopefully, because that alone makes matches more funny. But if you like the solo challenge, taking on a server of 100 people, coming out on top above all the rest, then I highly recommend this adventure for you. You'll laugh, cry and scream in rage. But always go back to hitting that 'Play' button on the main menu after a match.

Performance Gabber
This game is quite the RAM Goblin at the moment, I have had a few crashes because it just consumed too much RAM, so bear that in mind when setting the quality levels of your game at this point. Fingers crossed this will be improved upon in the future, but other than that it runs like a treat. Not much server lag at all during matches I've played, which is nice.

Sadly at this time, 03-Apr-2017, you can lower the foliage settings so there are pretty much no bushes or tall grass to hide in. Which is a shame, because I would like to do this more often. Thought I have heard this won't be an option in the future so every one will have the same details as one another. This just means some people will have an advantage over others when in the more open areas and the farm fields.

Happy hunting people!
