Everyone has to remember this game is still in early access and so has bugs and lacking in content that I'm sure (a) will be in the final game and (b) the Dev's are working hard on.
Yes it's frustrating to have to start again when a new build arrives, but that is the only way that you'll enjoy any new features and fixes. I actually like the fact that myself and 100's (if not 1000's) of other are helping shape this game.
If all of the above is not for you and you are expecting a completed game with lots of content then move along and come back in a short while.

For me it's a game to get lost in for a few hours, a game I like to chill with. The graphics are lovely and not demanding high spec kit be available which is a nice change.
