I was bought into this game merely by the fact that you could wander the universe on a voyage of discovery, on your own, in your own time. I'm totally not bothered about it not being multi player, tbh in my experience that ends up with other shooting you down or spoiling your game because of idiots.
Game has been stable for the vast majority of the time. Only minor glitches I've seen have been significantly lower frame rate and not being able to cycle through inventories using the A & D keys (once each, which a restart sorted).
Yes, I would like some improvements:
1. Ability to upload all discoveries in 1 hit.
2. Wider range of architecture. All buildings very similar. Some towns/cities would be interesting.
3. Altimeter
4. Variety of buildings, cities, more evidence of civilisation.
5. Ability to set way points at a planetary level so you can find your way back to a certain place on a planet and explore further.
6. Planetary maps. I guess that would be difficult given the procedural generation within the game. #5 might help this cause.

There may be more as I spend time here. The game serves up little on a plate, a bit like life really where you have to try and figure out your path for yourself with little help from outside. That's perfectly fine as it makes the achievements all the sweeter. There is a huge amount to discover, many places to visit, much to learn. I can get lost here. Ace.

UPDATE after 40 hours played.
- Not much difference between planets visited
- Even after upgrading CPU to an i5 I can barely turn up the graphics with screen tearing in abundance
- Still not found access to an Atlas Pass
- It's a grind, yes, and painful when swapping between starships, especially those you find are crashed. Why can't I swap out my perfectly working hyper-drive for the broken one? No, I instead have to build from scratch which is very annoying.
- Losing the faith. I may warp a few more times (5 now) and see. If little changes then will park it there and hope for some kind of massive content update from Hello Games.
