This game is garbage and equal to not even 10% of the quality that silent hill 2 remake has. If you played that and expect something similar with F let me stop you right here. It is NOT scary at all, the exploration feels pointless and filler-y with only obscure items to find that count as potions or bandages basically. The combat system feels extremely rudimentary and like something legendary Miyazaki would have made if he was starved of oxygen at birth. The story to me felt really cringe, the "dark" themes that the silent hill franchise is known for are there but it is so incredibly blunt and on the nose that i wanted to skip the cutscenes all together. I got it at a discount and i still feel screwed over.

Yes, a lot of the cool factions are hidden behind a paywall. Does that mean this game automatically deserves a bad review? I don't think so. The factions are unique, interesting and each stand out a lot from each other, giving the game a giant amount of replayability. The campaign and battle mechanics feel really fleshed out, and like a great culmination of everything the developers learned from the last 15 years of total war games.

I was not familliar with Warhammer before, but now i'm a fan.

The new civs are very diverse and unique

The new civs are great. Balance is a thing, but hopefully they'll nerf Lancaster some more

Its my therapy game

The reason i prefer this over New Vegas, (and this being possibly my favorite game of all time) is that i just love this game's gritty feel and atmosphere. I'ts way more mature and serious than NV in my opinion. It's true that compared to New Vegas the choices and quest design are a bit lacking, but to me blowing up a whole town with a nuke beats deciding which faction takes control of New Vegas. If you improve it with mods, you could play this game for hundreds of hours on end.

Also, the goty is on sale often and is usually very cheap. You'd do good to check this game out.
