I usually interact with horror games by watching Youtubers play them, but when the Youtuber is the one that MADE the game, I guess I have to man up and actually play it.

Definitely a lot of potential in this. I'm only a couple of levels in, but so far the "collect 10 gems, rinse and repeat" gameplay loop gets a bit stale, I imagine with more enemies it's more tense but even then, I'm just randomly clicking through rooms looking for the next one, it can get frustrating instead of scary real quick. In fact I was stuck for several minutes because I didn't even realize there was an area I could go to. (The room with the window, you can go right in there to go out into the yard I think it is, didn't realize you could at first). Maybe make it so you need 3 gems on the first level, and the more levels you go the more gems you need, or something to up the stakes as the levels go on.

I definitely like the setting, "a pastry shop that doesn't exist." Could use a bit more decoration and context, at the moment it feels a bit incoherent. I do like the dimensional anomalies in some of the rooms. Also I appreciate how the monsters seem to be from the abyss instead of being some sort of mascot horror.

The morally gray, Force-fueled power fantasy 13 year old me wanted, instead I got the sequel trilogy.

I hate to join the floods of whiny nitpickers, but no Steam Deck or even Linux support means I simply can't play.

Mechanically sound enough, definitely well made, but it didn't really feel like it had a real reason to be on the Steam Deck specifically, it could just as easily be a Switch or even phone game. Not saying it's a bad game by any means but the marketing pushed the fact it's on Steam Deck when it's basically just BotW shrines.
