Might be the best FPS ever.

I love this game. I'm constantly impressed by the programming that must have been involved to make this. I hope the developers are proud.

The core game is basically the same as MKX. They should have just added the characters people wanted to MKX as DLC.
Predatory loot systems need to go.

The way the story was told is great and art direction is also great.

I did not enjoy the story. There are quite a few plot holes and many things don't make sense depending on your decisions. At many points of the dialogue the writers attempt to have you cheat on your wife. The rest of the dialog appears to assume that cheating is the decision you made. The game also assumes that you report every detail of your adventure to the main conversation partner of the story. I chose not to have these interactions as I feel that is how I would go about the situation in my life... but again the game assumes you did. It seems the writers did not take the skipping of dialog into account.

For 10 bucks though I guess it's not worse than watching a bad movie.
