The best stupid fun I've had in a LONG time. Just jump in and start killing. There isn't much of a learning curve, everything is self explanatory. The only problem is that the interface and menus are a bit too big and need cleaned up. Other than that, excellent.

I am running on a laptop with:
RTX 5080
Intel Core Ultra 275HX
32GB RAM
SSD.

I was expecting performance problems but I'm getting 100fps+ across the entire map so far. Max settings and frame generation on 4x.

Way better than running Squad with its horrible suppression system. Amazingly detailed weapons and reload animations. Better than Hell Let Loose as well.

While the game may look and feel good, playing it gets painful real fast when the puzzles get really annoying and you get stuck and have to read walkthroughs at every turn which totally kills the experience.

I am an aircraft enthusiast and spent thousands of hours playing many flight sims. I knew this is nothing like a flight sim and expected an arcade style game, no problem right? Well, the game may look good but it just feels very empty. You start a mission and hear nonstop useless chatter and you really don't know what's going on and then, drones spawn, kill them, new wave approaches, kill them, and then mission done. Sure there are some decent sci-fi moments but overall the game is really lackluster and not what I expected, especially after playing the old Ace Combat games. Maybe I'm just older now and lost the games appeal. Also, when doing full throttle and afterburners, you can BARELY hear the aircraft engine which doesn't help in the immersion department at all.

I'm using a laptop with an Intel CPU with Intel HD graphics + dedicated RTX 2070 GPU. For some reason, I can NOT get the game to launch using my 2070 even after selecting it via launcher settings. Therefore it's using the Intel HD graphics and the game runs at 3 FPS. It was working just fine the other day.....? Luckily I got the game for free automatically.

I originally tried refunding the game since it was TOO basic at launch but was rejected because I was a few minutes over the limit. I am SO GLAD it got rejected. Now I have about 600+ hours in this game and another 400+ in Warhammer 1. If you like RTS then this game is 100% for you. You may think magic and abilities is stupid at first glance, but think again.

Graphics: 8/10 but anti-aliasing could be better. We only have FXAA and then 2x and 4x which are quite demanding.

Gameplay: 9/10 INSANE replay value. My hours are only playing High Elves, Wood Elves, and Empire.

Audience: Too complicated for most kids, better for teens and adults.

PC Requirements: You need a muscle car of a PC. Game is very demanding in huge battles.

Difficulty: 7/10 There's a huge learning curve at first with all the game mechanics but highly rewarding.

Price: This is the best $60 I've ever spent on a game in terms of replay value. It is golden.

Bugs: There are a few bugs here and there, but I haven't noticed anything major or game breaking at all.

Early Access Review
I'll keep it short and simple. This sim is quite interesting. It's a fresh take on submarine warfare. It's kind of like The Sims in a way but you're controlling sailors on a U-boat. They have needs and the U-boat has needs. If you're expecting something like Silent Hunter, well it isn't. The game descriptions and developers have made it quite clear that you're controlling a crew. So far I've been trying to figure out the game, which looks quite promising with enthusiastic developers.

Pros:
Awesome graphics
Very detailed interior
Great replayability
Fairly smooth performance despite being early access.
Very atmospheric and immersive.

Cons:
There's a bit of a steep learning curve.
There's a few bugs and glitches.
Controls can be rather clunky.
Not enough interface tooltips to show you what each button or icon does, but the amount is sufficient for now. Do tutorial.

Bugs encountered so far:
-In the forward bunks, one of the sailors was sleeping but elevated above the bed.
-While entering Southhampton in sandbox mode after choosing the hardest mission, the framerate drops to 5-10fps while using accelerated time but goes back to normal when switching back to normal time speed.

Played on:
i7-8750H 6-core processor at 3.9ghz
RTX 2070 (laptop)
32GB RAM
