Perfectly broken as intended.

Like it's Japanese setting, it's as far from Silent Hill as you can get.

Is it a good looking game? Yes! Is it worth the price of admission? No.

If this were a new IP focusing on the myth and folklore of the area my rating would probably be positive, because it does this well albiet with an unfocused and underdeveloped story. But as a game under a Silent Hill title, this just isn't it.

The combat feels awful and is my main gripe, giving you all the mobility of Remake James Sunderland while you're enemies are more akin to Malenia from Elden Ring... And throw in the weapon durability from Breath of The Wild, why not!

There's no real unnerving atmosphere or tension in the environments apart from the feeling of "please don't throw me into more combat". The "Other World" feels like a bland connection of hallways, reviving monsters and lame puzzles (Not all! but most)... Then, In the second half even all combat "tension" is stripped away as well.

I will now be accepting my Jester awards, as that seems to be the common theme here.

Is it too late to hand this over to Nightdive?
