It's very early on, so take the review with a grain of salt, obviously.

But I love this game and it hasn't even been 24 hours of gameplay, let alone released

if you enjoy tactical games this'll be great
if you enjoy "raising" games you'll be a fan
if you enjoy just seeing things work in a way you never expected them to, you'll encounter this extremely often
if you're a dog person I'm sorry this ain't for you maybe woofgenics in another decade and change

L E T S G O G A M B L I N G !

The slot machine of gambling roguelites. Feels like it was made by someone who struggled with a gambling addiction. Comes with extreme highs, and extreme lows, as the chance to lose everything you've won is almost always present.

I've had issues when it comes to getting a good run going, so I would call CloverPit difficult, but not to the point of frustration, since it mostly feels like it comes down to lacking the knowledge of what works well together when you first start playing (Plus some of the better items being locked.) The game actively pushes you to figure out better combinations to progress further, as the bar to clear gets raised (figuratively) exponentially higher as the run continues.

There's a story? Maybe? It's possible that you're just trapped in hell and forced to gamble for eternity. I'm not sure if there's a deeper meaning to anything the game says.

Please remember to gamble responsibly.

Surely, update a year from now that puts the ghosts (and tunnel runners) in new, cute outfits.
even if there isn't the game was fun and very much difficult on hard mode.

It's a terrible day for rain, divers. Lets hope sony gets the stick outta their ass and doesn't force a third party account on us.

Edit: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they actually pulled it out, give us back our comrades?

Early Access Review
yeah game's pretty cool
It's basically the earliest point in time for it, so it's still missing a bit of content, but it came with a lot on release
As long as they keep updating it, the game is 100% worth buying now, and even at it's current price I'd say I've gotten my money's worth out of it

There are a few bugs some friends of mine have had though, the only one's I've experienced are mobs clipping through walls and falling out of the world and getting underneath the water when I was riding a pal that was too big for it to start swimming in

They need to add in a way to automate ore proccessing for pals and make Digitoise not go crazy when trying to dig at a resource

"C'mon, hero, show me what you got!"
game is very fun and has randomizer and permadeath mode built in, so you can milk it for a lot of content if you're a pokemon-esque channel on twitch/youtube
status effects instead of damage variance for effective/ineffective moves is a very interesting choice, same with the humans having their own HP in battle alongside the monsters
difficulty scaling both in AI Intelligence and in enemy level is something a lot of games need these days
music absolutely SLAPS, as it should, even the more relaxed songs are beautiful (Most of the battle themes also have a variant with vocals, too)
actually has a postgame, which is admittedly more of a slow burn than the game itself
fusions are VERY cool, even if it's basically just kitbashing two different large monsters together I like seeing it happen

Overall I give this game a yeah/10

It's better to look at Limbus Company as an ongoing fundraiser instead of a cashgrab. You don't NEED to spend money to make headway in the game. It just gives you different options-- an expansion to your toolkit, which is already quite versatile to begin with. The games also very generous in letting you grind your way to any "Gacha" character you want. The game itself does need a little bit of polish and refining, but it plays pretty well beyond that minor issue.

People are just angry at the fact that this isn't Library of Ruina 2.
