The Crew Motorfest mirrors much of the experience of playing a game from the Forza franchise, even sharing many of the same features. Driving in this game feels more like a classic arcade racer, which I greatly enjoyed. Although flying was not immediately intuitive on keyboard & mouse even after remapping the keybindings. Overall, the playlists felt pretty distinct - street racing didn't feel similar to offroad racing.

Unfortunately, while I'm sure there is plenty of content within the game to experience, I cannot justify the $69.99 USD price tag. Luckily, the game just reached its lowest recorded price of $6.99 USD with a discount of 90%. It is a genuinely fun game, but if you're looking at paying remotely near $69.99, take a look at the upcoming Forza Horizon 6.

The game is riddled with cosmetics worth real world money in addition to three in-game currencies. One of those in-game currencies, Crew Credits, is purchased with real world money. Overall, The Crew Motorfest is fun, but it is not worth $69.99.

The Dark Queen of Mortholme serves as an incredibly interesting dialogue on immortality. You play as the Dark Queen, the final boss to an unnamed hero. In your first encounter the hero is easily slain. Yet, they return. The hero cannot truly be killed & you, the Dark Queen with your unrivaled power, have the potential to rule for an eternity. An unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

Over the course of this brief game, you witness a bond form between the hero & the Dark Queen built on a foundation of growing respect. You see it in how the dark queen disposes of the slain hero's body. Like the description reads, this is a game about an unusual bond, perspectives, & of change.

Early Access Review
In TCG Card Shop Simulator, you own & run your own card shop. Stock booster packs, sleeves, dice & figures. Organize the shelves, set the prices, move the tables around, hire staff & flip the open sign at the door.

Progression in this game is slow but not uninteresting, & while the gameplay can be relaxing, it can be pretty fast-moving. Using the money your business generates you can purchase additional space or new equipment that changes how your business operates - often improving the efficiency. The game is still in Early Access so there is still so much new content to look forward to.

Personally, I would like to see more environmental props or aesthetic elements such as rugs, couches, wall art, window signage & plants. I'd also like the ability to place these objects closer to each other.

I definitely wanted to enjoy Blind Touch, I liked what the intention was. A story told by limiting one sense & forcing the reliance away or onto another sense had the potential to be incredibly unique & artistic. A game like this would also be perfect to advocate for & support organizations that support the blind & visually impaired.

Unfortunately, I found the game felt incredibly unpolished & - in some situations - poorly executed. I found myself with a headache before completing the first level. I recall there being a warning about that. I think it was the visible echo from using the cane - softening it might reduce the risk for headaches. I still have every intention of attempting to play through the rest of the game regardless.

YAPYAP is a bizarre little game that fits neatly into the same category as games like PEAK, R.E.P.O., & Lethal Company. Unlike in R.E.P.O. & in Lethal Company where your goal is to retrieve items of value, in YAPYAP your goal vandalize & cause mayhem. With up to five friends & aided by magic, destroy what you can while avoiding the magical creatures that defend the rival wizard's tower.

The game is quirky & fun & manages to do something a bit different from what other games of the same genre are doing. It feels like the difficulty scales incredibly quickly & some monsters almost can't be confronted or avoided, effectively ending the level prematurely. I also found it difficult to read most of the text within the game, & much of the map was too dark to see anything. These frustrations aside, it's definitely a fun game & I hope they continue to update & build upon it.

While the stickers are absolutely cute & fun, I think the most notable feature from the "Jigsaw Puzzle Dreams: Stickers, Challenges, and More!" DLC is the access it provides to player uploaded puzzles on the Steam Workshop. While I don't believe access to the Steam Workshop should be been hidden within DLC, the feature alone is worth the $9.99 USD especially since the game itself is free-to-play.

Jigsaw Puzzle Dreams is a free-to-play jigsaw puzzle game in which you can customize the room you're playing in. Put your puzzle together on the kitchen table, the coffee table, the desk or even on the floor. In addition to re-painting the walls & changing out the couch cushions, you can also display completed puzzles! Play alone or online with friends!

The amount of customization is a neat gimmick, although I wish some of that extended to puzzle options. For example, additional piece types & the ability to auto-sort. I initially found the movement within the game to be difficult & not immediately intuitive. The in-game music needed to be turned completely down because the music-player would automatically begin playing again after relaunching despite being stopped previously.

Lastly, there's only a limited number of puzzles available & in order to access player uploaded puzzles in the Steam Workshop you have to purchase the "Stickers, Challenges, and More!" DLC for $9.99 USD. I'd have been more upset about this if the base game weren't free.

When Quiplash first released on Steam back in 2015, it was my favorite party game to play with friends & family. I used to stream my laptop to the living room TV with the Steam Link & we'd play Quiplash for family game nights after eating pizza. I unfortunately moved a couple hundred miles away & Quiplash is the game my family looks forward to me bringing with when I visit for the holidays. I bought this version with new prompts from the original Quiplash so I could stream my Steam Deck to the living room TV & so we could play again this past Christmas.

I never bought The Jackbox Party Pack 3 which does have Quiplash 2. Quiplash 2 InterLASHional is that same game but in French, Italian, German & Spanish & with additional prompts for those non-English speaking players. I love that this game is being expanded to a larger market. Quiplash 2 InterLASHional ran exceptionally well on Steam Deck with zero issues. I genuinely cannot recommend this game enough.

Offering the best bang for your buck, Ticket to Ride®: Round the World Ticket gives you 10 expansions for a price significantly cheaper than if you were to try & purchase them individually. I would, however, still recommend purchasing this DLC while on sale & not at its asking price of $34.99 USD.

The combined price for the individual DLC is criminal, especially if you previously bought them for the Classic Edition before they took it down from Steam.

Ticket to Ride® takes you, the player, around the world as you compete against up to five friends, strangers or AI to claim railway routes between major cities. Players earn points throughout the game for each successful route they claim with additional points being awarded for longer routes. The game ends when at least one player has expended all their trains. Additional points are awarded to the player with the longest contiguous route. Bonuses are distributed for completed destinations and unrealized destinations can result in penalization.

My frustration with this game is they took down Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition to release this one. The Classic Edition was being retired due to an outdated game engine, which is understandable. However, when they released this version, they removed the classic artwork from the classic boardgame in favor of more "modernized" graphics. Furthermore, anyone who purchased the previous version, would have to purchase this version to continue playing & receiving updates.

Additionally, for anyone looking at purchasing DLC, I would recommend purchasing the Ticket to Ride®: Round the World Ticket while on sale. The combined price for the individual DLC is criminal, especially if you already purchased it in the Classic Edition. I'm still going to recommend Ticket to Ride because aside from how they handled this re-release, it is still an enjoyable game.
