Don't let my hours fool you - I've played thousands of hours on the standalone client. This game used to be fantastic, but this league alone they've done the following:

• Added the most unrewarding, challenging and simultaneously boring league mechanic
• Gutted Harvest crafts (one of the community's favourite crafting methods and league mechanics)
• Nerfed Beyond into the ground (replaced it with Scourge, which is a cool idea in theory but they nerfed the loot whilst buffing the enemies to an unreal level)
• Removed 32:9 support so that my ultrawide monitor now has gigantic black bars at the side of my game. In patch notes I was promised a new setting to centre my UI - turns out this was a lie, they didn't communicate this with the community AT ALL until people logged in.
• The second most iconic currency in the game (exalted orb) has lost 92% of it's value and is now effectively worthless (and also the de facto trading currency for higher value items). This also completely killed the Standard economy.
• Archnemesis mobs buffed like crazy, these rares are so hard to kill that some are more powerful than the pinnacle bosses in the game, and every mechanic feels exactly the same due to these enemies. Blight? It's AN with towers. Delirium? Breach? It's a big circle of AN rares.
• Loot has been heavily nerfed. For every 100 items you'd get last league, you get 10 now. Well, they buffed it by 25%, so you really get 12.5 items now. This change was undocumented, and now you need to play the lottery (find a monster with specific modifiers) to actually get any rewards.

Path of Exile was probably my favourite ARPG of all time, but GGG have decided to sneak behind the community's back to make the single biggest change in Path of Exile history. There has been communication from GGG stating that they're happy with the way it is and they have no intention of reverting the changes this league, or buffing anything to compensate.

RIP Path of Exile, you died on the 19th of August 2022.

First Resident Evil game I've ever played or interacted with.
Made me go back and watch somebody play through RE7 after I wrapped up the main story.
Can't wait to see what comes next in the RE series!
