I would ask my friends to get this but the $30 price tag is asking for too much. I think $10 would be more appropriate.

Given the lack of options variety in the escape menu and lack of small things like a search bar in the map selection window, the UI has polish left to be desired.

The gameplay, the graphics style, and the approachability to this game are its strongest qualities. I recommend this game although it just falls short of being a competitor and it’s a pinch away.

So far enjoying myself and pleased with the fact that this game is brought to us by the guy who created the OG runescape. feels like i'm playing what i imagined a sequel to osrs would be like.

i escaped with my brother and honestly if the puzzles were any harder i would have given up so with that said this game has just the right amount of difficulty and good exploration. keep your eyes peeled

dmz reminds me of those fake food toys you play house with when you were younger. fake and plastic. i want some real food. tarkov is a nice salad, dmz is a plastic salad with a d*ck in it. it's like when you want those nice bread sticks from olive garden, except dmz (the breadsticks) come to my table soggy. in other words it WOULD have been good if it was made RIGHT. why play dmz when you can just play tarkov? it's obvious that dmz is a tarkov-like experience. it's trying to be an extraction mode, but the main goal of extracting is to come out of the field with some good loot. in dmz your loot (minus your guns) evaporate into thin air. what's the point? gain some xp? a lot of people don't care about that.

Fully recommend playing it if you like tycoon games and similar games of that nature. I enjoy the humor of the game, it doesn't take things super serious. Example, the first dude you meet is a guy who looks like Elon Musk and he helps you start a weed shop and in return you make a deal with him to give him your kidney. Then you beat his ass later, the game has all sorts of ironic humor lol.

Overall I like the game. Considering this game is in alpha, there is plenty of game-play from the handful of starter scenarios. Personally I like the direction of where the character movement is headed. It allows for fast pace movements and slow paced ones. Leaning to either side doesn't feel janky.

I dislike how the AI can cheap-shot you from long range with a pistol. I don't like that you have no opportunities to heal yourself. Adding a character role, like medic, could keep the realism and add game-play.
