AI : The Somnium Files is the greatest most awesome narrative driven game ever ! The story has sooooo much replayability and in fact you NEED to play through all of the different paths to unlock additional information for the story and it's incredibly mind-♥♥♥♥♥ !!!! It's like on par and even beyond the show DARK (Netflix show which I'd also recommend if you've loved this game) !!!! I love it !!! OMG It's amazing and the most awesome thing ever! The writer for this game is amazing! So much respect!
I just couldn't put this game down until I've uncovered it all. It's like one of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time-travel / alternate world anime done the best way possible inside of a game.
You reaaaally get hooked !
You basically are an FBI agent with an AI companion and you go into people's minds as one of the means of investigation. Depending on your choices and the way you solve things, there are branching paths and once you complete a path you can continue from where you branched off multiple times. It's like reading an interactive novel and you can't put it down!
