unlocked framerates, nice visuals, combat feels better etc etc
but it runs like ass (max 50fps outside on a 4070/5800X) and has unreal 5 smearing so no thank you

Instead of calling me a liar, how about you guys test it yourself? Unlock your FPS, and find out, i've been playing Oblivion GOTY Edition for 12+ hours total in the last week, locked at 360 fps, and haven't had any problems with the physics... I'm on 9800X3D+9070 XT, AMD hardware, so the fps is unlocked by default for me, but if you're using Nvidia the FPS could be locked at the driver-level, so you need a special software to unlock it... At least for skyrim, dunno about oblivion though... But i'm pretty sure Oblivion GOTY Edition got a few updates recently that unlocked the FPS.

Bro if you dont know the physics and other stuff is affected by your FPS in original Oblivion, no idea how it is in this version though. If claim you've been playing the original on 360 fps i think you are lying.

I mean Gamebryo being locked on 60fps traditionally. Physics break above 60fps, and some versions of creation engine even have speed up issues if the FPS is above 60, none of those happen in this version of the game, so props for that I guess

idk about the steam version of oblivion though

Wdym "unlocked framerate"? The original oblivion on steam has unlocked framerate, i've been playing that game LOCKED at 360 fps for a solid week and a half now with my 9800X3D+9070XT lmao! Haven't tested the remaster yet though, reading reviews first, i'm not a nostalgia-lemming. :3

Nvidia is locking the framerate i think, and you need a special software tool to unlock the framerate if you're using nvidia... if you're on AMD on the other hand, well... Framerates are unlocked by default! Which is a problem if you wanna play Skyrim, lmao, as high framerates totally break Skyrim!

the amount of people who dont even recognize or realize the amount of smearing DLLS adds make me honestly wonder if half the population is in dire need for glasses

keep consuming DLSS slop then lmao
Pvt.Steel 22 Apr, 2025 @ 10:18am
Then use DLSS. That is what it is there for.
