Replayed this recently (original playthrough was on a PS4) and man, I forgot just how good telltale and their team were at creating a story and characters. This ranks rather highly in my Borderlands tier list, which says a lot because it takes the IP, strips it from the looter shooter bounds and manages to make a good game that separates itself from it's core IP while still maintaining some of the core Borderlands DNA. Worth noting though that at 4k, the engine just really isn't built for it and is very choppy even on a 9070xt.

While I do think that there is still work to do with the game and much that can be improved upon and fixed, I think that the direction that has been laid out for the future of this game is bright. Season 15 brings a number of great changes to try and breathe life into an admittedly tired franchise/game. Lootboxes are always a scary thing to add to the game, especially after the troubled past that Overwatch has with them, however, the team over at blizzard re introduced them in quite possibly the best way they possibly could have. Limited number of them per week, defined chances and guaranteed legendary if you somehow do not get one in 20 boxes. To top it all off they cannot be purchased which really makes it a prosumer move, which Is the first time I've ever referred to a lootbox as a prosumer move. all in all, well done Overwatch team! I look forward to the future. 8.5/10

Imagine not fixing your Fing Game. Come on Valve, do Better.

This game is Very fun but can be frustrating if you do not have a group of friends to play with. I highly recommend this for anyone who is into first person or third person shooters and just wants to drop in a spread democracy for super earth by mowing down the hordes upon hordes of Robots or Bugs. It does have Micro-transactions, but the premium currency can be earned in game and the base weapons tend to be the best in game anyways. Overall I'd give it a 9/10 or even a 10/10 considering the fact it is a live service game.

(Updated) Still Gonna say stay away but the actual Gameplay and story is quite good. such a shame it has this many performance issues out of the gate...

Genuinely beyond ridiculous that my 3070Ti 5600X and 32 GB of RAM are getting 35-40 FPS at 1440p. Terrible optimization across the board because there are people with 4090s getting the same f-ing framerate

I write this Review at 2600 hours and as a D1 Veteran. Leave. Go away. Play LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. Hell, go play roblox, as long as it has nothing to do with Bungie. Game is cooked. Hate to be negative but man
