Played the tutorial, that was the most painful 20ish minutes of my life. I couldn't even tell you what the game is about or what the loop is. All i know is, i played a tutorial, i shot some stuff, i mined things, bought things like a moba but it's not, found loot like a battle royal but it's not, found out it's a 3v3 format, there's armor like battle royal, there's abilities like Apex legends/hero shooter, and i don't even think the developers even knew they were making at one point. I generally feel bad for the devs, this is the most uncohesive game i've played in a long while. The moment i loaded into the main menu, all i could do is the Michael Scott uncomfortable face for 20 minutes straight. I do not recommend, I personally believe Geoff's endorsement of the game is not only a nail in the coffin for this studio and game, but also a very harsh black mark on Geoff.

Early Access Review
Insanely fun game, Everything it does top to bottom is highly unique and engaging. It fits into a perfect slot for me personally where I'm waiting for Friends to jump on for a different MMO or Game or waiting for that next big update and gives me that progression itch that desperately needs to be scratched. I absolutely love the fact you can tailor the game to how YOU would like to play, make it harder, easier, decrease the grind on mobs or whatever you'd like, to give yourself a personal great experience. I've sunk 10+ hrs into the Demo before i bought the game and now i've purchased the game yesterday and have been grinding like a maniac within the dungeons, exploring the world and using the wiki left and right to figure out drops and how to gear my party. The Sim players are really awesome to see running around in dungeons and out in the world! They do light banter and i've gotten to the point where they're now whispering me to comment about how cool my gear is and where i got it and sometimes to beg me for spare gear. Feels honestly good and I cannot wait for the .3 Update where Guilds and the guild hall expansion is coming, I'm only level 15 and the cap is 35 and have been LOVING every minute of it. Highly recommend to ANYONE who enjoys MMOs or deep level RPGS, you'll have a blast!

Clocked my very first playthrough at 70hrs on Balanced and that's with 80% of the side quests completed or atleast started. Game is fantastic, and i'm looking forward to starting another playthrough!

There are some bugs in Act 2 and 3 however they're going to get patched out fairly soon and overall didn't affect my experience poorly.

It's also worth noting there is indeed a memory leak, it can happen between Act 2 and 3, So if you notice your FPS just dying out of nowhere, Save and Restart the game completely and you'll be good to go. This only happened a total of two times period and that will be fixed soon as well.

Updated-

They've finally put majority of the polish in the game and is making the game work properly.

But still have a way to go, there's still no new classes as promised and a few other missing items.

They're still working on the game and slowly getting everything together, only took them nearly two years to get there but here we are.

Save your Money.

Game has potential but i didn't spend money on a game for potential i spent it for a finished product and it's not.

Fatshark has done this on all three of their major game releases and we need to honestly make sure they know it's not acceptable to ship a half done product.

The combat feels awful, nothing feels great and the builds out there for each of the classes feels meh at best.

The progression system feels garbage, you have to hit lvl 5 to even feel a tiny bit better and that's cause your shield is just another way for them to put in clunky combat that you're going to get hit by. Every talent post level 5 feels just eh, nothing really of impact and every class feels boring.

The mission system is horrid, there's no flavor or anything it's pick X mission with X mutation for very little reward, or get X mutation and everything goes to hell for no reason.

AI isn't great either, enemies have clunky hit boxes and still hit when they shouldn't from player view, Pox hounds need to be put in timeout until they're actually fixed and not glitch monsters. Specials are hard to hear over the music and everything else and they don't sound as unique as they should.

Damage types are meaningless, of the 30ish enemy types there's only two damage types that actually are good which are Flak and Armored, every other damage type is useless.

Perks on weapons and weapon stats feels awful, no detailed information on why a gun with 75 of this stat is better than a 65 of the same stat.

This is the game that multiple betas and people reporting the same issues and they still weren't fix on launch or a month after, and still have the same issues many still report.

An open letter that came late, that should have been within two weeks of the launch after all the data that was promptly on display.

Currently at this point, i have minimal faith on Fatshark will truly fix this game, which sucks as i enjoyed Verm 1 and 2 very much and i know what the final product looks after it's full polished, but after the 3rd time of going through this mess, this game isn't worthy to being spent 40 dollars on or even 10. It needs to be put back in the oven for another two years.

Also i like to note here, that even after Verm 2 has been released, they still haven't released all the DLC they promised including a versus mode and they've done this before with Verm 1 as well, To me i'm seeing them in the same light as Turtle Rock Studios, they over promise and under deliver then shore up everything slowly while they already work on a new project before finishing the last one they started.

Incredible game! Has a ton of heart and soul into the game and it shows every bit of game play. doesn't stay to long nor to short. It's worth the money! PLUS lots of post game content and i can already estimate another 30-40hours of Content as there's a huge amount of time trials, collection, costumes, and etc. Honestly i'm super excited to keep going and finish it all out, and that's a rarity for me personally! If you're doubting the price, let me tell you it's worth every penny!

I've been playing this game since release and in beta both on PS4 and PC, The game raises the bar on comp shooters and even at 612 hours recorded, i have nearly another thousand hours on PS4 and 65-80 hours on the TTS and even that i'm Still learning new angles, strats and many more things. This game is hard to learn and harder to master, but once you get over the first 60ish hours and find the right ops you want to spend time on and figure out your style of play I.e. Anchor, Roaming, Support, Fragger, Entry etc etc. Then the skill floor sky rockets further and the game overall seems to never cease to amaze me. The current events that have been going on have been improving ,content only gets better and better. Devs are learning what not to experiment with (Loin Globals) and further increase the skill ceiling. Truly worth every penny i've spent in this game, and the great thing is this game is always on sale during Pro-league so you can pick up the ultimate edition for Year one to current operators for normally 40 bucks or 50 depending. I'd highly recommend this game and encourage all new players to jump in or returning to take another crack on this game!

Ark Surivial is a Fun game at heart, I purchased the Game back in 014, when it first was early access, and uninstalled it when only hitting 25hrs hoping the mechanics and issues too be fixed, recently came back in the last few weeks and put a lot of hours back into it playing with friends, but Honestly the game ISN'T worth it, the constant crashes on unoffical servers which aren't their fault it's the literal game, the constant bugs that are still from the begining haven't been fixed, the fact that you'll die randomly on occassion still, the list goes on. I've played enough to say that WIldcard doesn't care period, and the only way you'd enjoy it is with friends but that fades away after seeing the plethra of consistent issues that make the game either stable or crash/bug every two minutes, Let alone the offical servers which are plagued with toxicity and general hate, I cannot recommend a game that's been in Early access for this long, say their released but still has the same ♥♥♥♥ happen, either just let the game die or the dev's need to fix their issues cause this was not a worth buy at all, and i don't recommend this to anyone who is thinking of buying.
