One of the best 3rd Person Shooter games I've ever played in my life. Highly recommend playing with your friends so you can turn them into slushies.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!
So the game is decent and much simpler than Tarkov which is why I like it, but I think this is important:
Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming services change into a black screen whenever the apps detect "monitoring or recording" software running (this is to prevent content piracy). Sometimes I like to watch stuff as I game. While playing Lost Light, it causes both those streaming platforms to black screen. This doesn't happen when I play any other game. That means this game is monitoring me and my tasks while the game is running. It doesn't happen while the game is closed. At first, I didn't think the reviews & comments referring to this game as spyware/malware were true or at least very exaggerated. Now I'm 100% on board. This game app is monitoring me. I don't suggest playing it on PC anymore. If you like the game, I suggest playing it on mobile where its access is limited.

Everything about this rogue-like is fantastic except one thing:
When auto attack is enabled, it auto aims to the closest enemy. It should instead be auto attack in the direction the mouse cursor is facing.
This is my only gripe with the game, and it's quite irritating to be honest. Please patch this.
The rest of the game is great.

Pros:

- Very decent story line! (except for the end)
- Great audio. It's clean and CRISP
- Good music
- Interesting mechanics

Cons:

- Graphics need optimization (the intro is pretty bad and drops frames a lot)
- Game freezes in certain areas and either teleports or rubber-bands your location
- Pressing Escape into the options/pause menu should have some kind of notes of what you need to be doing next. I'd also like to see the "Status quote" of what my character last said.
- Too many unnecessary jump scares that hold no value to the game
- The ending is vague and uninteresting. There should have been more lore/background.
- Obvious spelling errors on the developers' part throughout the game
- Developers didn't consider that some players might "guess" certain codes/mysteries that would unlock areas that would break the game entirely. (If you acquire items that you weren't meant to because a door was locked and you guessed the code, the game no longer progresses in story.)
- Could use multiple save slots in case of corrupted files

Suggestions: A mechanic for the lantern which requires more oil or candles would've instilled more fear of losing light. Would've made the game scarier and force the player to conserve resources.

Overall: I ENJOYED IT.

It had some issues, but it felt like I was playing in Beta Testing Phase. Could still be polished.
