This is by far the best mod for Half Life 2. The story and gameplay are perfect, and even keeps you on your toes as it does add some new gameplay elements. I really love how this mod attempts to expand on the lore a little bit and breaks away from that HL2 cycle of: kill enemies in hordes, travel very long distance alone, repeat. Growing up I always wanted to be able to play as the combine in HL2 and I feel really accomplished by finally being able to do so through this mod. I would definitely recommend this to any fans of the Half Life Franchise. Also: you don't need to have played the first mod in the series (Entropy: Zero 1), I played it through without doing so, and in my experience the story holds up completely fine on its own.

I have a lot of found memories of Left 4 Dead 2, but without letting my nostalgia get in the way of a good review: there's no zombie survival game quite like this one, every weapon you use just feels perfectly honed in that valve/source style, and the survivors are lovable and definitley memorable. I feel like Left 4 Dead 2 does a great job balancing story and gameplay, while you might like longer cut scenes other games will have, this game will either have no cutscenes or keeps them short and sweat depending on the campaign (except for Dead Center LOL, everyone hates that campaigns cut scene). Furthermore, In a world where multiplayer games often require you to actually have friends, L4D2 pairs you up with 3 randos and promotes teamwork by making the game impossible with only 1 survivor, or you can simply play with bots. I will say that in 2025 it's really difficult to find a real lobby, but if you can somehow find a lobby that isint hacked or heavily modded, L4D2 will become an unforgettable experience.

just play vr chat, it's better in every way. And to those who might say: "but rec room is safer for kids," virtual reality is not a kid friendly activity beyond maybe Job Simulator.

ok ok I actually kinda like this game, it's not too hard to get into and once you got some decent gear it's really fun to play for awhile here and there. however, this game has no right being 140~ Gigabytes, that is completely absurd. So until they do some SERIOUS optimization, I really can't justify keeping such a massive game downloaded even if it is fun.

This game is the first of its kind. Being able to fly through space and explore the endless galaxy in this proceduraly generated engine is truly an experience you can only get from No Mans Sky. Weather if you are playing with friends or playing by your self you will learn the ways of the, "Traveler," and the importance of, "16." You can chose to start out traditionaly with a damaged ship on an intense planet to given a fully functional ship where you are the god of your solar system and its economy, either way, you control the difficulty, even on multiplayer.

Storyline aside this game looks great, sounds great, and feels great, with overall spot on emersion. the mechanics do require some getting used to but after awhile it becomes second nature. Before they allowed players to change the difficulty I used to play with cheats to make the game easier, now players can choose what aspects of the game are how challaning, (for example discounted, free, or scarse economy, reduced or increased damage, ect). The multiplayer in this game is amazing. you can play with a bunch of your friends and do everything you normaly would alone, together. I would recomend this game to anybody who loves space and open worlds, because in No Mans Sky, the entire Elucid Galaxy is your open world.
