Just go play the demo instead. Got over 30 hours into the demo. Had so much fun. Was genuinely excited for this to release... Could barely play 2 hours of this game. Not only is the optimization truly horrible, but they butchered the really amazing physics system that was in place. Now your character moves all goofy, swings are floaty, weapons will spaz around like crazy after you swing, being lightly tapped means losing an arm or a leg, and people die from tripping on their own two feet. Just so stupid and the gameplay feels so much worse. Incredibly disappointing.

And honestly, don't even get me started on how bad the new gameplay "features" are. The round system feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible. What do you mean I have to play 6 rounds in a row without a loss to earn 8 gold?? And I risk dying permanently for that much?? So stupid, so bad. Same with the new "freeplay" mode. Honestly just give us the demo systems back, please.

Would highly recommend just downloading the free demo and playing that instead until this mess of a release gets fixed.

Adding buildings to the game was the worst decision possible. The game is 10x worse with restricted strategies and more forced playstyles preventing player creativity

Not what I expected and not what I want. Very bad exploration and harvesting/crafting grind heavy. Having a tiny inventory, needing 100 flowers to build something, and each flower takes up an entire inventory slot... Forcing you to take 10 trips back and forth to the harvesting location to get all your building mats. Honestly just really terrible and not fun. Combat does not feel smooth like Mount and Blade either. Really cannot recommend the game in its current state.

Great game. Some of the features are better than CK2, however in some ways there are less features than CK2. Can't play merchant republics for example, but can be head of religions and make your own easily.

Easily one of the best games I've ever played. Have over 1000 hours when counting offline hours.
