Good game, horrible UI, will remove/turn positive if fixed

Gives me brain rot and ruins the whole experience. If I live or die in matches, I gotta crawl through the utter crap which is the menu within menus which tells me less info then the previous UI with the added confusion of the layout and short cuts.
You want to remove a perk? Gotta press enter for that.
Want to remove a weapon from your current load out? Gotta press F
The premade load outs take longer to get into and navigate and then they don't even buy everything in said loadout.

Loved the game for a long time, played on and off but this whole menu which you HAVE to engage with ruins the experience for me. With all the old menus faults, it was 100x better then this CoD windows 8 knockoff piece of crap which I can't even understand how it got though quality check. UI team cooked so hard and long they not only burnt the food, but the whole dam kitchen!

Smite 2, engine upgrade & wallet filler. How about keeping peoples purchases or a 1-1 gem comp instead of a laughable 50% coupon. After the overwatch2 ♥♥♥♥-show, you'd think a company wouldn't be eager to one up them..

Been excited for this to come to PC for a while and I’m not disappointed.
As i get further and further into the game I’m finding new things i love about it. While in theory, dosn't bring anything new, it feels fresh and i can sink hours and hours into it and feel satisfied and wanting more and more.

There sounds to be some performance problems, though i've not run into any (I seem to dodge a lot of these with games).
I don't have a super computer and run smoothly with no issues:
Intel core i7-7700k 4.2ghz (8CPus)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
16gb RAM

As of launch the network seems a little janky at times, though this will probably be resolved with an update or when players drop off as I don’t think the devs were expecting 230k+ concurrent players x'3 That being said, I am still able to group up and play with players all times of the day fine being other players joining me or I them.

The controls ones tweaked on mouse and keyboard work well and for a while I debated to use them or a control but with the camera controller works slightly better. Not a must have by any means.
Long story short, if you like the look and idea of the game, I would, and have recommend

As of this review i've played 259h I've enjoyed everything about this game from picking it up. The only 'downside' is the monthly sub for this game. Though, for a good MMO at this level i do feel it is worth it. I've always had the view of, not paying for mmo's as if i did i could just go sub to WoW. But with WoW in its current state, I honestly find this game more fun and enjoyable.

•I've yet to get into PvP so can't comment on that.
•The story, is pretty slow at the start, though after the first majot cutscene going into Heavensward really really gets you invesnted. The quests also feel a lot less fetchy and make more sence as the story progresses.
•I've done a few side quests they can be hit or miss like normal side quest such or you can get somthing like the Manderville questline which was amazing and funny.
•I love how they have done classes/jobs in this game where you can really only need one character and get super invested with that one. To me its an amazing change to the classic mmo mold.

Overall i'd recommend this game for sure but only if you will be willing to pay the sub, which i think is fair and get the expantions, as the game picks up more into them.

Disclaimer: I play this with a controller so yeah..

Waited till I could properly review the game before writing this. All game had a blast, and got better as it went on. I just got ending A before writing this so I feel I can give a good view point.
Never played the first Nier but with that said still didn't stop me enjoying this. I had no problems with crashes, the only problem I had was with cut scenes where they slowed the fps right down and the audio carried on, though this problem slowly stopped happening as I got deeper into the game...This might be my side as I've not seen this problem on anywhere else...
The combat was challenging and fun to do. Plenty of upgrades and unique things you can do (choosing what weapons you want to use and your pods abilities)
The Story develops the 2 main characters, 2B and 5S quite well though I would of enjoyed it more if the other characters you meet more, but this might come the other play thoughts..unsure of that at this moment of writing.
The sounds and visuals are great in my opinion, the sound track keeps to in the world and is something I can see myself listening to while not play (Become a God (Birth of a Wish) one of my favs) This game has be criticised over its colour pallet, which I do kind of get, but as you explore more you see how each zone becomes its own due to the colours. Also when enemies attack their eyes flash a brighter red which I found was a nice touch and how the colour is used to draw attention to things is done great so the lack of colours in places is acceptable for me.

Overall I feel the port is good and does run but can have problems and isn't perfect. But it isn't another crappy port either and I feel the issues it has can be patch in. I would happily recommend this game to any of my friends!
