Best survival crafting game made yet. Abiotic Factor truly rewards exploration with fantastic level design that loops back into itself in a way that is natural and sometimes surprising. The combat is probably the least developed portion of the game, the game attempts to make up for this lack of deep, enjoyable combat by having a large amount of unique weapons, however they disappointingly play similarly due to a lack of weapon archetypes.

The story is interesting, but it definitely ends in a way that leaves it open to be expanded by future DLC and updates rather than a concrete satisfying ending. Overall a step in the right direction for the survival crafting genre as a whole, even though some things can be improved.

I am eagerly awaiting the future DLC and updates to see how they expand on their already fantastic ideas as Deep Field Games make genuine efforts to listen to their community.

Fantastic sound track and character art/animations. The story is interesting and definitely keeps you entertained through the 5 to 7 hour run time. There are not many choices that make an actual difference to the story, but there are different endings. The true ending is fairly easy to obtain and the game doesn't suffer from having overly complicated branching paths. All in all, it's an enjoyable start to what I can only hope will be a continuing series of games.

P.S. Be Who She Thinks You Are is a phenomenal track, kudos to the composer.

Easily one of the best Metroidvania adaptations of Souls-like gameplay on the market. An interesting premise, setting, and characters make this a must buy for fans of the genre. The game's adaptation of the Sekiro parry system feels incredible when you finally start to understand a moveset for any particular boss. Music is also incredible. Just an all-around good deal, even at full price.

Fun game, some slowdown every once in a while but mostly when loading from quicksaves.
