This is the best Final Fantasy to start with if you've never played one. The story and characters are great, the game play is slow and turn based, but still worth. If you ever see this game on sale, it's already worth it.

Blizzard needs help.
This game is inferior to Overwatch 1 in almost every way.
Except this is Overwatch 1. It doesn't need the 2 moniker as the thing that would have made it Overwatch 2 was canceled.
Balancing is whack, the monetization is whack, and if you aren't playing support you might as well jump off the map.
Don't spend your money or time on this trash.
Microsoft likely can't save this garbage.
If there was a game that is deserving of your time and money here are some alternatives:
Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, Monster Hunter World.
If you're looking for an FPS game that's worth your time (and free) here are additional alternatives:
Apex Legends, Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege.

That concludes the review of Overwatch 1.1.

Incredible game. Simple, fun, difficult, co-op. Good times to be had. Mods are in it. What else could you want? If its on sale, it's a steal.

Early Access Review
As an early access game I can give this high marks on a few areas, but it drops the ball on other aspects.
The things Baldur's Gate 3 succeeds in is wealth of content, game play, and graphics. These are three very strong aspects of the game that help make it feel more alive and vibrant and being a part of the world.
Unfortunately, there are things it fails at such as stability, lack of content (wow weird), and the cost of the game up front in early access. Even with all the shortcomings, Baldur's Gate 3 when it releases will likely be worth every penny. I plan to gift a copy of this game to a friend as this is a studio that delivers products that just can't be beat. I'm referencing Larian Studios other hit title, Divinity Original Sin 2.

TL;DR I recommend this game, it is pretty good and will be even better when it comes to full release.

Where do we start first? I'll start with the most insulting portion of H: I when it comes to gameplay: Aim Assist.

As a competitive player who has reached GM in Overwatch, Diamond in Siege, and spent a lot of time in competitive scenes over the last several years for FPS games, I feel that the aim assist was ridiculous and insulting. The disparity a while ago was 18% average accuracy of controller players over K&M players, which is why I feel like this game suffers competitively.

Just give native K&M support to Halo console players; I've played Halo on both Xbox and PC, and every time I have played an FPS, I almost always have preferred to play the K&M version. Controllers are great for RPG games, especially games like Elden Ring or the Witcher, but if the competitive scene is on the controller, I view it as a joke. While there is a place for AA since controllers DO need the help as the accuracy of a mouse on a controller is very difficult, the over tuned nature is not only offputting but again an insult to years of practice since essentially a bot is doing the aiming for you as opposed to years of practice.

With my personal rant out of the way: is the game worth playing? Yes.

This game is better than anything EA has put out recently and much more enjoyable than any recent COD entry.

Is there any longevity in this game? Maybe.

It's a live service ftp game with no content. I haven't played this game since February of 2022, and my interest in it was low when I was hyped for release is an understatement.

Are there better games out there? Yes.
Play Apex, Overwatch, CS:GO, CoD Warzone, literally anything else, this game is fine, but there are finer games out there. Splitgate has been heralded as a game like Halo; give that a try instead of this.

Final Verdict:
It's free, but your solid-state/hard drive space isn't. The game has missing content, bad servers, few game modes, and tons of MTX that are incredibly expensive. There's a lot more to say, but I would be here writing an essay, and I would rather spend no more time discussing the failures of this game when something so special like Elden Ring exists.

I give Halo Infinite Multiplayer a 4/10. Maybe revisit it next year in February if it's still alive and may actually have content and balance patches.

Monster Hunter World and it's expansion, Iceborne, is some of the most complete content you'll receive from a game.

If you're looking for a fun solo or multiplayer experience up to four people that includes fun bossing, speed running, or grinding out mats this is the game for you.

I have it on both Xbox and Steam, and I feel like the money I've spent has been well spent.
