Early Access Review
Played the demo, and borrowed a kei van to deliver rice, drove it in sport mode and threw smoke and overheated trying to go up a steep hill. Every drive has something unique so bought it straight away.

Kind of reminds me of the car RPG on playstation Road trip adventure, just way more in-depth it's so fun. Any way to make money with cars it's in here.

Single player is great, but I'm sure online is an entirely different experience. Look forward to what updates come!

STEAM DECK: Works good on deck with some graphic settings lowered and locked to 60fps. Sometimes dips to 45 in built up areas but comes back after everything is loaded in view.
Works best if you lower the steering speed below 100% for Xbox controller/joysticks imo.

The perfect game to dip in and out of when ever you get spare time for car nerds like me, or just end up cruising the entire evening away listening to music.

This game has drivers that forget to turn their lights on at night. Realism achieved. 11/10

** THIS GAME ONLY HAS PARTIAL CONTROLLER SUPPORT NOT COUCH COOP FRIENDLY **

I am a huge fan of the first instalment of Dungeon Defenders, and wanted to show my support by purchasing it's latest reincarnation. The sole purpose (at least to me and is true for the first game), is that I wanted to play this game through steam link, on the couch with my partner, and this game hasn't delivered that support sadly.

Yes you can play with a controller once in game, but you need a mouse to navigate nearly all the menu's. Which if you're in the other room in steam big picture mode isn't possible.

The first game had flawless controller support, I wish this game did too.

I will happily change my review and be proved wrong once this feature has been fully implemented. Because I wanted this game soo badly. Plz fix!

Early Access Review
Great cheap team working game.

Its one of the scariest games I have ever played, I would say akin to Alien:Isolation but with team work.
With it being in early access there are limited features, maps and bugs, but any improvement from where it stands now can only increase how scary it will become.

As it is now, its a really promising early access game and has a solid idea of what it's suppose to be. Fingers crossed for a roadmap and update news from devs - Please let us know what you are doing, we are all big fans.

PLAY THIS GAME BEFORE YOU BUY INTO FPV.

TLDR: This game is so fun. Think trackmaina with drones, lots of maps and community maps too. The training missions are really really good.

Playing this game will help you decide whether or not FPV is for you. I personally dont own a drone yet, but this game has got me hooked into practicing my skills and learning something new.
I saw a lot of negative comments when I saw this game pop up on my facebook feed, but for £7 I thought I'd give it a go. I can say It must have had updates since those negative comments, because I haven't found anything bad to say other than it is HARD to fly FPV but rewarding.

I cannot stress how good the training missions are to hone your skills and point you in the right direction to learn the skills necessary. Yes it can be a bit of a grind on the very first few but it caters for all skill levels, and if you want to skip a mission you can, you dont have to complete every single one to move onto something else - another plus.

If you're on the fence buy this game, its cheap enough to give it a go. It runs really smoothly, nice graphics and you be competitive as you want or just fly solo sandbox. Do it!

TLDR: Probably the best text based game I've ever played.

Pros:
-Good learning curve
-Very fun
-Freedom to play with the GUI or command prompt exclusively
-Outstanding sound track
-Actively being developed with mods, dlc and multiplayer coming soon
-Reminiscence of the old Uplink game

Cons:
-Failing a mission or making a career choice feels open ended, repercussions aren't explicitly said
-You connect directly to the computer you're going to hack, no proxy or 'bouncing' of connections
-Connections map gets crowded and cant be customised

Conclusion
If you're even slightly interested in this game, buy it. If you're a big electronic music fan, buy it with the sound track!!

TL DR: If you want a quirky causal RTS, this is it.

I'm a casual RTS player and love AOM. I tried other like supcom but it became too complicated for me and so I tried this game and it fits the bill perfectly. It's a red alert clone but executed excellently to today's standards.

Best of all the developers are listening and keen to update the game and add more content. Simply join the discord channel or forums and talk to them! I don't know ANY other game where you can do this.

I would of said "would buy again" but I have twice already.

TL DR: Kalos!

TL DR2: If you bought the original, the steam version is worth paying for too.

I bought the original DVD case with all the posters and big manuals that use to be included in games, a long time ago in my youth. Way before DLC was a thing...

If you discount Half Life 1, this game is probably one of the best games ever made and I'm not a huge RTS player.

So when it came to steam and I discovered there was a small DLC coming after 10 years I threw my money at them and bought it (after all the devs deserved being paid twice, even if the original game is on my shelf).

This game isn't a full flesh remaster, but it does a good job of tarting up the ancient graphics to how you probably remember them. So its still acceptable by today's graphics standards.

The DLC is great and well worth the £6, it makes a fantastic addition to an already godly game. I must note that they have made the most out of the limited old textures. Secondly it has a new campaign! - A Rare sight for DLC these days or even new games *cough* EA.
I've seen a lot of complaints about the new expansion and mostly its down to people expecting £30 DLC for the actual price of £6.

Long and short here's some good and bad points;

Good;
-Amazing game play for ALL skill levels worth its keep with campaign alone
-Great cheesy cut scenes
-Multiplayer is great and all its old maps coming through on the steam workshop
-Great graphics with this extended edition
-Voulume!
-The DLC is great
-The mythology theme is just epic

Bad;
-Online player base is lacking :-(
-Online can sometimes lag
-Textures are limited to 512x512 (old game engine limitation sadly)

I hope to boost the online scene, so I urge you to check out the sub-reddit /r/AgeofMythology/ Thank you :-).

Last words; WORTH A BUY ten times over!

One of the best game re-incarnations ever. Played plenty when it was browser based, loved everything about it.

Although, now it's on steam I cant actually run it. Black screen and froze my computer, it even caused my first BSOD with this system!! (i5, 8gb of RAM, GTX970). Very disapointed as it costs money!
So just be careful before you plunge your cash.

p.s I'm happy to rectify my review if this problem is solved as I have endless love for this game.

What I do like about the game, it's fantastic style, character and music sounds. Not to mention minecraft with guns! It's very fun how you can quickly dive into a game and adapt your surroundings by digging or building around you in tough fire fights. Zombies is the best game mode, others really lack the drive to complete the objectives.
The menus are very good easy to use and set up your class etc.
The gun choices and classes are very cool and has some nice trade off with gun choices.

How it could be improved.. The sound scape is dead. For a battlefield it's rather empty and quite sounding most of the time! I like the sound design there just needs to be more uses of it! Characters could speak more counter strike esq radio commands, would really help team playing. P.s More death sounds would be great.

The movement is 'on ice' it's all smoothed out and feels like you glide around rather than walk. Jumping on the other hand is feels like lag and delayed. Using crouch or sneak should stop you falling off edges imo.
In game HUD lacking a mini map!! Also some more options to sort the server list would be good.

Taking damage and being shot at feels disconnected, usually you die in one shot and have no idea where it came from. Perhaps enlarge the current damage indicators, and more bullet flying past noises.

If I could choose one thing to improve it would be more sounds!
Apart from those few bad points..it's a fantastic, quick and fun game to play when you want some mindless action that isn't too serious!
