Level crashes or stutters - primarily "The Bog" - disable shader preload in the advanced video options.

Apart from that, it's a fantastic game.
I'm disappointed in the direction the game was taken after SR2, but as a game, it is glorious.

just like the real thing, minus the paperwork.

trying to enjoy this game is hard.

lost connection to servers, couldn't reconnect to match, 2 hour ban.

also filled to the brim with egotistical, misogynistic and racist english and eastern european family let downs.

so if you can stomach the game not working half the time, scuffed 2D audio and being screamed at in accents and languages you can't understand, be my guest.

Activision destroys a beloved franchise 2: the electric boogaloo.

TL: DR
P2W lobbies, constant freezing/stuttering/crashing, basic problems not being fixed.

I did originally recommend this game because yes, it had a bumpy start and frankly a lot of basic features either didn't work or hadn't been implemented yet, but it was a lot of fun, especially with friends, and although the lack of prestige system annoyed me, the gun progression and camo challenges made me keep booting it up every day.

but after spending a bit of time in the game I can not recommend this to anyone. New or old fans. Especially old.

From the purchase-based lobbies to the constant non-stop freezing/stutter, this game is a mess, there are still constant little stupid things like menus and shaders breaking, not having a cursor and having to alt-f4, challenges/titles/emblems/camos not getting progress or not unlocking when supposed too, even getting kicked out the customise menu when trying to edit your showcase, which was in the game since the beta, and still here. actually, all these problems showed up in the beta and yet?

Now, everyone has different experiences, some people might have never seen any of these issues - I personally have never had a challenge not progress but know and have seen multi examples - and no it's not my pc, I've seen that finger be pointed a lot, and it's pretty pathetic.

Another random problem I’ve been getting is the game randomly putting me on american servers - I stay in scotland - in the middle of the day with 200 ping and simply just have to wait and see if it resolves itself.

Updates for bug fixes and new content really is spars and the only content we are getting is the stupidly overpriced gun blueprints and cosmetics.

I’m extremely disappointed in how this game has turned out and trying to enjoy it is an uphill battle, I will still struggle through the game to get the mastery camos but I can not recommend this mess to anyone.

To anyone who played the original, stay clear, it’s painful watching Activision do what they did to Guitar Hero, to Call of Duty.

And to whom it may concern, that went out of their way, to destroy the fan-made game that made people able to relive their childhood cods like me, rank up and prestige again in the classic games, and experience some of the greatest FPS goodness that was the 3 Modern Warfares.
