Great followup to Mini Metro that improves on the core mechanics and is enjoyable to play in short or long bursts.

Everything you could hope for and more in a sequel to Crusader Kings 2.
You would be doing yourself a real disservice if you don't try Crusader Kings 3.

Short and sweet, simple puzzle mechanics combined with a simple story, pleasant visuals, and relaxing music makes this an enjoyable way to pass an hours time. Don't see any replay value, but I do not regret the purchase at all.

This game managers to capture the sense of peace and joy one gets from long road trips better than any of the “lesser” car games.

Now if only there was a mod to force all the uncivilised European countries to drive on the left.
Oh well, they’ll just have to deal with my blind spots.

A fun and interesting gimmick that doesn't outstay its welcome, though I'd hold off purchasing until the game is at least < $10 (I received the game through a Humble Monthly Bundle). Having said that, you owe it to yourself to at least give the free demo a go.

2018 Update: Still my undisputed favourite game of all time, you are doing yourself a major disservice if you don't give it a shot.

One of the best strategy-role playing games I've ever played, select literally anyone anywhere in Europe during the middle ages and watch as your family rises in power, falls, and rises again over the 400 years of conquest, intrigue, backstabbing, incest, and family conflict.

Be prepared to sink many an hour into this, especially if you can drag a friend or two along with you into the multiplayer, where the backstabbing gets personal.

DLC is not required as all it does is unlock the ability to play as different groups of people, though the "Legacy of Rome" DLC is recommended as it unlocks the ability for everyone to utilise standing armies (retinues).

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is an interesting little indie gem, and one that everyone should try at some point. Borrowing the controls and design of a first person shooter, Amnesia puts you in a world drenched in atmosphere. You awaken as a man without a memory (As the title may have suggested) and have to use your wits to unravel the mystery of who you are, all the time whilst avoiding what lurks in the darkness as you descend father and father into the world of Amnesia.

I can't say much more without spoiling this unique experience, however it is important that you only play this game at night (or in the dark) with the lights off and, if possible with headphones/headset for the best immersive results.
