Absolutely awesome game, great aesthetic, music matches it perfectly and the gameplay is fun, buy the supporter DLC, 100% worth it.

Early Access Review
This one's a strange recommendation:
the looks and sound are simple but pleasant
the first few runs are fun and there is meta progression with new kings and perks
but the game gets very samey after those first few runs

If you have the cash to spare or there's a sale, buy it, if not maybe look for something with more replay value.
The game's still in EA, so I hope the devs add more content and I wish them luck.

6/10, more meh than negative, if you liked the previous 2 TR games, you'll like this one, just less.

Pros:
-game looks great, animations are well done, cinematic feel
-audio design is fantastic;
-nice platforming;
-good voice acting, for the most part;
-nice to play with a controller;
-nice executions, and stealth is nice (until the novelty wears off);
-fun to watch Lara cinematically die, once the game has sufficiently annoyed you
-tons of collectibles (if you're into that);
-dress up your dolly (if you're into that);
-female empowerment, overpowerment even (if you're into that);

Cons:
-game is stupidly easy, even on the highest difficulty (designed for consoles?);
-combat is forgettable at best
-guns sound great, but have no feel at all (shotguns blasts at a meter distance have no impact at all);
-Lara is a god among men, overpowering anything and anyone;
-Lara is a mass murderer, yet is portrayed as emotionally fragile;
-platforming is cartoonish, pulling you into ledges, rope magically spawning out of your ass;
-inputs get dropped every once in a while, resulting in death;
-flashlight is broken half the time, especially in combination with 3rd person view
-game is about as immersive as a shallow grave;
-game world is illogical as all hell, everyone speaks English deep in South American jungles;
-Lara has infinite knowledge of everything, is super strong in spite of being lightly built, is a master gun tinkerer;
-probably a whole lot more of things I can't remember at a moments notice.

One of the best roguelike games out there.
Very solid combat that strikes a great balance between not too easy and not too hard.
Wonderfull soundtrack and great art assets make this game a timeless classic that I'll keep coming back to for years to come.

A fun game. with simple to learn mechanics and an aestetically pleasing art style. Nice sound design and decent voice acting. An okay story, another one of the games that's kid friendly, but has a story of genocide and suffering. Works great with a controller.
